Have heard this morning news of the sad and sudden death of Kade Lang at just 42 years of age. I believe he died of a heart attack while working out in a gym. My condolences to Langys’ family and friends and former team mates.
A very sad and tragic loss. Was a favourite player of mine. Hard as a cats head, brilliant kick and powerful overhead. Kicked a goal after the siren from about 50 metres out at Bassendean one day to result in a draw. I think he was captain for a couple of years.
Rest in Peace Kade Lang.

Looks like he had his best years in 2005/6. Just before I started watching regularly. 119 games for us. Successful business career post football and a young family. Very Sad.

Yes he started under Stan Magro who was a big Langy fan. Was from our country zone from memory.
Staggering news to lose one of your former club stalwarts at a relatively young age, rednblack, and condolences to Kade’s friends and family and those Demons fans who regularly watched him play.
Sadly, for as long as I can remember, instances of fatal heart attacks in fit young blokes have been far too prevalent.

A great write up on the Perth website. I never new he did so much for us and thank him for it.
Yes I believe he was putting back into the club by sponsoring talent pathways as he was very successful in his career, a surveyor by trade I believe. Heard he was due to go on a holiday to Bali with a bunch of former Perth teammates next week. It’s hit the club pretty hard as you can imagine. Left behind a wife and 2 young kids.
