Josh Simpson.

I wonder how long it will be before we see the lightning speed of Josh Simpson in the Purple.
He seems to be high on Lyons list on young guns who will crack a berth soon.

didnt he get dropped from all grades recently for discipline ?

Yes but I think he has played back at East Fremantle since then.

didnt play league or reserves last round

Ok thanks for that. But he is in Lyons thinking. He mentioned the fact that he would play soon recently.

Apparently he is home sick and not with us at the moment.
Hopefully he will return and give us some joy with his talent.

LOL ol anchorman really knows what’s going on with his precious little Freo boys MO! Maybe get in touch with freeze, rock, strono or one of the other EF boys to find out where Simpson is really at & that’s a mile away from playing in the AFL at the minute!

Give it a rest BH, SDFC know all about problems with Indigenous players. He will come good, a young lad with prodigious talent. Don’t know what your problem is with anchorman but surely you are allowed to post about your club and players on your clubs board without being ridiculed for every second thing you post? I’ve experienced this myself and I don’t understand what gets some people off. Chat boards are for discussion about topics that are relevant, not hate campaigns for trolls against people who put stuff up worth reading.

Out of interest, anyone know where Simpson is from? Geraldton region perhaps?

Haha DD thats a bit rich coming from you mate ..we all know your form at its finest from footygoss, waflonline etc!!
I was merely pointing out to anchor that maybe he should take a closer look at the WAFL form before making grandiose predictions about certain players playing AFL when they were not even playing WAFL at the minute due to a club suspension!

So johnno is the old DD is he BH? Another name changer?

Yep Johnno is the one & only Demons Den 58shark!

Josh Simpson is from a very small town called Yalgoo 500km NE of Perth. Pop.100.
See link below.

His last game for EF was in the derby where he was very good and there was talk of him playing the following week for Freo until he missed a training session and consequently was suspended from playing football for 1 match. He should be in contention to play for EF this week against Claremont. Let’s say his debut for Fremantle will be put on hold for now…but a another game like the one in the derby could see him in contention again.

Ahhhh, my old mate

From what I’ve seen of young Joshie, he’s a typical indigenous lad. Very quick and very talented. Fortunately he’s at EFFC, so he will be developed to AFL standard. I love t when kids from remote locations make it to the big time.

We all know that johnno was DD in another life.We all know that Bazza was S&S and Bobby Skilton in another life. But what about your numerous nic from past lives BH!!!Come on let us know.Maybe RCQ!!!Among a miraid of others.
Oh and by the way fellas thanks for the information about Josh.Hopefully we can see him back and playing well.

He won’t be at East Freo next year!!!

That’s right Swan but it doesn’t matter where he goes as long as he is looked after.
The kids well being is the most important thing.

I see that Josh is back in the fold at Fremantle.Good to see. Also from reading the papers he played well for the Sharks on the weekend.Lyon mentioned him as being in the mix to replaces Walters in his post game press conference.I wonder with it being indigenous round whether he will crack a spot for his first game at AFL level.
