Very sad to hear that Jeremy McGovern has , through on going concussion issues has been forced into retirement.
A player that does not have the supposed body of an AFL footballer, but had the ability to read the play and mark a ball as good as any going around.
He was a natural footballer, had football nous, something which can not be taught.
Player with a great record on field.
I hope that his future after football has as many ups as his football career had.
Well played Gov, Good luck in your after football life.

Well said, Senior.
Brains and ability - it’s a great combination both on and off the field.
Enjoy your retirement, Guv.

Well said senior. So many great games to remember him by, but none bigger than his last mark in 2018.
3 short of his 200, thats a pity as he deserved to be amongst that elite group
