Jarrad Schofield - Dear new CEO and board

Cmon SDFC, Do something for a change. The club needs to go and get Schofield, pay him whatever he wants, give him all the resources he needs, clean out the dead wood and watch him work his magic. Players will come and play for him. He is the best coach in WA and SDFC have a chance to secure him now like our fore forebearers did with John Todd.
If we dont go and get a good coach now, I fear for what the club will become. The whole joint stinks. Its time for an overhaul and it all starts with making an appointment that will turn heads in the footy world and change the fortune of the club forever. Do it!

Would love Schofield at our club. However that assumes a few things

  1. The club actually sees the need for change
  2. Schofield would want to go back into the WAFL system, he may get an offer from another AFL club
  3. If he does want a WAFL job, he may prefer to go back to Subiaco
But I see your point, it would be a real circuit breaker at Swans

Instead of posting on a forum please ring the club, email the CEO and go to the AGM to make you feelings known. Its the only way this club will gey out of its own way, when the boys club that currently hold power are moved on by members who want change. Too many members enjoy the back slapping just as much as the boys club do and dont really care about on field results.

I was astounded to hear that the Claremont womens coach is full time yet our League coach is just a part timer.

I hear he wants to stay in Perth. He was offered to go back to PA via Josh Carr and turned it down to stay in Perth

Let the bidding wars begin. Is there a soft cap in the WAFL? Schofield would command a full-time gig and a nice car. Not sure he wants to drive around in an LDV. Both clubs have deep pockets.

I remember Percy Johnson was a big Jarrod Schofield fan.

Given he coached Salariaco with endless pockets, can he even coach?
