Well Koby’s gone. Looks like Browny will have to stay and Peakie’s back. Then we still have the draft to get through. Be interesting to see how we end up, player wise.
What happened with Callum Papertalk, did he play last season???
Seemed to play reserves mainly. I’m surprised they didn’t delist him coz he never set the world on fire.
I think you’ll find CP did get delisted from the rookie list.
He also was not selected in the reserves GF.
Papertalk is only a youngster, struggled obviously this year, but i hope he sticks around in 2013 and shows the sort of promise that attracted WCE to him in the first place.
OUTs: Teaks and Weller plus Stevens possible draftees would be Paparone, Howson, Simpson. Marsh and Duffy…possible possible draftees could be Symonds, Byron-Pendergast, Schofield and Henson.
INS: Peake and now Cripps…EF need another Ruck I reckon to allow Young to play forward or back permanently…I hope EF have talk to Cl Andrew Ruck…though fingers crossed Gabriel will be better for the run on WAFL grounds in 2013 and youngsters in Stokes and Wallis can step up.
Jamie Mac would be a huge get, but in all honesty the kid was looking for new challenges and would be suprised if he came back after only 12 months!!
I think Cripps will be off to the Royal Eagles mate.
yeah true DG…I think they should just make the swap now…clean and precise, this will enable clubs like EF to decipher what players they need for 2013…though TBH neither Brown or Dalziell will probably be at WCE in 2014 anyway…Griffen and Sutcliffe should be AFL regulars for Freo in 2013, whilst Menagola is probably another year away from cracking an AFL game and Dick if fit is a better option for WCE than Hill will ever be…
hopefully some of EF reserves boys like Fasolo, Tropiano, Monaco, Chalwell and Yeo can see some light now with this EP/Peel decision…but the question I ask is… will they still be at EF in 2013?
Dont rule out Andrew Foster who is finished with Claremont but has lots of mates at EF ofcourse
considering Mark Foster is EF new colts coach and I think Andrews brother, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Andrew Foster back at EFFC in some capacity…though as a player?..bit too old for my liking and he did turn his back on EF after getting delisted by Freo to go to Cl…let him play for Peel I say…they deserve one another!!
Yep
I see Cooyou has been delisted by GWS…didn’t understand his drafting in the first place, but another small forward to go with an ever growing list of them will no doubt help EF depth…that’s if he doesn’t jack it in and headback to Gero.
Or follow his ol mate Kyanga to the West Coast Royal Eagles freeze!! But with the WCE takeover down at Medibank you might get him & Tyson Rudd back!!
Kyanga stopped playing at EP towards the end of the season. Where he is now who knows.
Gee better get in and get that Flag in 2013 guys as 2014 a lot will change.
Adam Kelly and the EFFC are not happy as it will effect their club. And so they should be as they have provided more AFL players to the AFL than any other club.

Beaten 2012 grand finalists East Fremantle are concerned at being significantly weakened when their AFL-listed players join East Perth and Peel from 2014.
But Claremont, while concerned about the process followed to strike the deals, are confident of maintaining a strong WAFL presence without theirs.
Chief executive Adam Kelly said the Sharks, who had 16 AFL-listed players in 2012, were concerned at how they might cope without them.
“To lose that tie is really disappointing,” Kelly said.
"I think we had something like eight (AFL-listed players) on grand final day and there’s no doubt whatsoever it will have an impact on our ability to be as competitive as we would have been if we stayed under the current arrangement.
"It’s just disappointing to think that these guys, some who we see on an infrequent basis and others on a regular basis, will have that association broken.
"They have been terrific for East Fremantle, it’s something we really appreciate and I know our members really appreciate the service they give the club.

whilst I can see Kelly’s concern Cardy, I reckon EF won’t be as hard done by in 2014 as many people think…I’d be more worried if EF reserves or colts were useless…EF had pretty good depth this year and TBH this WCE/FREO happening hopefully will keep those unlucky EF fringe guys at the club now…
but from the sounds of things only Sutcliffe and this years draftees from EF to WCE/FREO will go over anyway…not the likes of Menagola or Dick…I may be wrong though?..Dalziell and Brown will still probably struggle to play AFL unless injuries arise…Brennan and Griffen only played 6 WAFL games for EF anyway and probably even less in 2013.
Be interested to see who EF lose from the league side this year to the draft…Duffy, Symonds and Henson maybe…already 35K in the bank from Johanninsen upgrade at the WBD…plus Simpson, Howson and Paparone from the draft more than likely…a possible 140K to go out an attract a key forward, ruckman and key defender perhaps…
Yep he is his brother and i bet Malaxos wont be showing him the door if he rocks up for training! Quality players will at a premium from now on
Any of you EF boys been able to talk to the players about the host club farce? What are they saying about it? Are any of them pissed off and not looking forward to playing against their (ex) team mates? What’s the feeling at the club?
I can tell you shark that none of those AFL listed boys want to play at either the West Coast Royals or Fremantle Thunder! I wonder if Nisbett or Rosich have actually asked any of the players their thoughts?
Spot on BH the boys are spewing as is the club.
I think we’ll definitely lose Duffy, Symonds and Paparone in the draft and then there’s are few others like Henson, Howson & Simpson that are a chance as well.
Will need to find a ruck and CHF for next season.
Can someone confirm that we will have Cripps at EF for next season, or does he go straight to EP?
Straight to EP rock.
