I am hearing we have two injuries all ready Blackiston AC Joint and Hodge Ankle.
Its so typical, we have pre season games and get injuries
Sounds like Blakiston could be out for 10-12 weeks…bugger if true, but hey good to have Strnadica and McGuire as the calvary.
Hodge unsure, as ankle’s can be a lot of something and nothing…fingers crossed…though Marlin, Bailey, Murphy and Avery are up and about…even Jono Marsh.
Both injuries dint look good. Blackiston is a gun, how old is he, surely he gets drafted. That Hodge you recruited was very good as well. EF will finish top 3, absolutely made us look 2nd rate. We do have 7 on the sidelines but that may have shaved a few goals off.
Blakiston is a late bloomer…not sure why SF left him in their reserves, but has come on in leaps and bounds since Teakle got drafted. At 27 Whinnen, I think the fella has missed the boat…as for Hodge, yeah heard good things about EF new guy, was earmarked as Jupp’s replacement…disappointing for both lads, and the side, if they are both long term injuries…but still think the depth is there to cover.
