Your not wrong Grassy!! I rely on this site to keep me informed on the happenings in the WAFL. The West Perth site has been very quiet this season. Timely win by the boys given a loss last week & facing Subi next game. Go West!!
Great to win the game but the injuries to Manning / Ker / Keunen / Duffy and one other that I cant recall is of concern.
So both teams received a number of injuries from the game Winger. Lets hope none are major & are available next week!!

Very good win against an improved Perth, I was impressed with the way we pulled away in the last with only 18 fit players and a limping bench, Keuns came back on and snagged a goal on one leg, not sure of the severity of the injuries of all mentioned, we will be in a bit of strife if they all don’t play next week ![]()
Manning injured again Leedy??? How damaging a player he could be at the level if he could just keep his body better than sound for a whole season.
West Perth’s Home ground advantage keeps rolling along nicely. They did 27 Ball disposals/ goal. Just a tick under 4 ball disposals Inside 50 per goal. Finished the match with 49% of the play.
Apparently both teams sustained injuries to key players. Lets hope none too serious.
Whilst Perth in their first Away game did 55 Ball disposals/ goal. Just a tick under 6 ball disposals Inside 50 per goal. Finished the match with 50.2% of the play.
Perth were still in the match at three quarter time according to the scoreboard but West Perth powered on in the last term. Not sure what the weather conditions were like over in the city, if it was like here, would have been quite wet with a lot of rainfall.
Can’t account for Mandurah’s weather Guy,but the further North and East we were, the more Rain we probably got.Bickley got a bit,but that’s South-East.

Apparently a badly bruised shin, Im not a Doc but you would think he will be a chance to play this week, Keunen has had limbs severed off and got up for the next game
you never rule him out…
Can anyone tell me about this Keegan Knott? Saw him last 2 weeks and he has looked very average…
Did you see him v Perth ??? He was bloody good and if he improves 10-20%, he will be a ripper, Balyntine like.
Noticed him more in the scratch match.
Knott is an ex Claremont player, who probably found himself in a queue of 30 fitting into 23 League Spots.Would probably get a game at most other WAFL Clubs and he is now at West Perth.Reckon he’ll do OK there.
Opportunity knocks,so good luck to him.
C’mon Guys, what’s up with you lot?
I know Ozfooty has just about finished up,but why have you guys lost your appetite for Footychat?
Ok,yesterday didn’t help and Keunen is a big loss,but c’mon.Talk to us!

Grassy,
Cant see us winning a game until a 3rd of the way into the season, our growing injury list to 8 walk up starters is frightening atm.
Keunen-12-16 weeks
Morrow-6 weeks
Rasmussen-6weeks
Nelson-6 weeks
Fowler-2/3 weeks
Manning-2/3 weeks
Gaudignen-10 weeks
Antonio-16 weeks
My Cardie cohort AC,reckons Chris(Keunen)should have stayed off after that incident against PERTH.He stayed on to torment us further as he always does, with a neat goal. But AC was right,as the big number 19 must have aggravated his injury further.
Cardies have packed up for the season and site early.
Bye guys.
Haha, we will stitch you front runners up this season at some stage, we are going to be the best nuisance value side in the comp, particularly 5/6 weeks out of Finals.
That is a pretty damning injury list there Leedy. Obviously opens the door for players to step up & fill the void created, but there is a lot of experience & talent out for a fair chunk of the season. To those given their opportunity…take it with both hands!!

Good meeting you a couple of years back VF after WP beat EP in the GF, I chauffeured Leedy to the celebrations and had the pleasure of meeting yourself and your premiership winning son. All the best for the future!

Leedy that’s a horrendous injury list, all quality players especially Kunan who I rate as the best ruck in the comp when he’s fit and Nelson out of the mids. Hrd road for your mob for the first half of the season at least.
