Just finished reading an article on the net where Pat Cummins and Travis Head have been offered contracts to the value of $10mill PY to play T20 cricket world wide.
They would have to leave test cricket to take part in world wide T20 comps.
Both have rejected the offer due to CA contracts, but, not a bad pay day.
I know some players from other countries have taken offers and really to the detriment of their counties cricket. Chris Gayle was one that came to mind.
Australia is going through a slump in talent at the moment ,I believe due to the T20 game.
Could test cricket be about to meet its greatest challenge yet with a world wide T20 comp?
Amazing to think so much money available for a format that is so contrived in one disciplines favour…mind boggling
