Great to see another WA lad make his debut, hoping he has good one
I gotta say it’s becoming rather predictable listening to AFL debutantes colts or junior coaches proclaiming that they have no doubt that the said player will be a success
Oops sorry but Jaxon Pryor made his debut tonight as well, there’s the thing a Pryor and a Starcevich in the same team again.
Hey Grump, thanks for posting your comment on the West Perth site. Im sure you will enjoy this podcast from the ABC.https://www.abc.net.au/radio/perth/programs/breakfast/bill-dempsey/13269438
Bill has often said to me how he respected the boys at East Perth and other clubs.

Listened to him with Wolfie on the ABC, he and Brian France are my favourite WP players, hard, fair and skilled, wot more could you ask. I posted it cos there did not seem to be much happening on the thread. Apologies if I transgressed.
Same for me Grump, both champions and gentlemen of the game. France in particular for me, he was one of the very few who managed to get the better of Austin Robertson on many occasions, usually a CHB but when they played Subi he went to FB. Correct me if I’m wrong but France would have won a Sandover in a canter if not for missing a big chunk of the season with injury back in the 60’s?
The fellow i liked back then was Perter Eakins. I think he had a short career if my memory serves me right. Brian still goes to the games with his wife Kay, both lovely folk. As we get older the wafl folk diminish, its a bloody worry.
