CA have been a horrkr group of incompetent individuals since before the SA debacle.
Durinf that sad tour they refused to back Warner for defending his wife. Love or hate Warner, he did what we all would do. Well some of us any way.
Then had no represenitive there to assist Warner or Bancroft in after events.
They allowed the South African police to march the players through the airport like convicted terrorists.
A bunch of simpletons running close to thw biggest sporting organisation in the country. Was Greenberg not a failure at NRL level!
Well,my Opinion on Warner and Smith was lowered during that Tour.
But I’m not going that path again,as they did their time for it and is now Water under the bridge to me!
Not sure what Smith did that was wrong in the debacle.He stood by his players. Something CA never did.

He and Boof should have TOLD Warner to Can what he was up,MADE him along with the South African Manager and Captain to shake hands with his Antagonists(No Angels I grant you)and the whole thing would Never have taken place!

They have to carry a squad of players. Had the wicket been cut closer I am sure that Murphy could have come under calculation.
Look at the number of quicks they have had sitting as squad member. Being no more than net bowlers when they could have been playing SS.
