Got a feeling we are moving into a critical phase next week or two, how are people coping, I do not use a lot of fuel. but others are different. This could impact folks travelling around to watch WAFL games.
$3.09 for diesel yesterday, $100 for a 1/4 of a tank…FFS thanks Donald!
Might have to get the bike out of the shed ![]()
Fill up the Buses and Trains for a while, when you can folks.
See how the Fuel companies react when they start running low on Business.
Our public transport system is atrocious…10-15 mins to work by car is 60+ mins on Transperth
Ok,when you can.
You must have a run to work that no Bus Route services.
Can’t all be bad.
How long do you think we’ll be paying through the nose at the bowser, though?
I’m only filling up half my tank now.
Not where I live , train service and times excellent.
Could go on a while doesnt seem to be any plan and now ground forces are in play…
Some talk of a peace plan, they need to wrap this up quick and real quick before the entire world economy crashes///
Got two options
Quickest being Bus, Train, Train & Bus with moderate walk to finish trip
Or Bus, bus with nearly 2km walk to work.
Why theres not a bus route that runs down the coast from North Freo to Hillarys is a mystery
Time to eScooter up Tiger. I can recommend the Segway Ninebot G2 Max. Great range.
Diesel now $3 a litre plus FMD.
Certainly with you on the last matter.
There might be a service, but they seem pretty scarce.
The general view is from late April, will be the seriously critical time. Hopefully hostilities stop soon. The fuel pricing is insane. Locally in 1 month, the fuel price went up by 1 dollar 30c / litre.
I topped up just over half a tank of premium diesel today at Atlas Ascot @ $2.99.5 p/l. 30.53L cost me $91.44.
Saw the bloke in front of me take a tumble as he was walking around the back of his Kia Carnival. Lost his footing slipping on diesel spilt by Jerry can wankers.
A crisis really does bring out the worst of selfish human behaviour.
Yes the fuel situation is going to impact the already dwindling wafl crowds. The news this morning has the houthi rebels now joining Iran. Apparently if US troops hit the ground, the rebels are going to target ships sailing the narrow strait leading to and from the Red sea. Like they sank a few ships in that region previously. Sadly our fuel situation could turn even worse than the current status. There are mamy more servos out of petrol / diesel or both than last week.
I think really only a couple of weeks before it gets bad.
I think WAFL will be impacted, how about Free Public Transport all weekend, it is already free Sunday make the train and bus free all weekend for a few months.
Be good, but Cook’s already spoilt the moment with that,….
How was that grassy?
In referring to the Capped Fares,he wasn’t about to make them Free.
No free public transport in the metro area here Bazza, so the old premier is saying. Apparently he thinks it cheap enough as it is. Not sure if the train station car parking will be free or not, who knows?
Any one traveling interstate will have free public transport for a short while.
