Well I missed the first quarter, so my luck was not flowing too good from the outset.
Crowley is a really good tagger so I didn’t expect too much from Shuey.
I would have expected more from Scooter but not too much to report there.
I’m not sure how long Adam Selwood has got left, he seems 50/50 at best with his disposals.
Good experience for Lycett, I hope Woosha keeps him in whilst NicNat is out, so to keep improving.
Eagles seemed to panic when kicking in. Every player on the ground was hangin around the fifty metre line. I wonder if the forwards went back to position they’d drag some defenders out. Make some space.
I didn’t think Ashley Smith was that good, I would normally choose Brennan over him and certainly looked like that should’ve happened on the weekend.
Pity about Lecca but not too long out, good bump from Mzungu.
Kennedy playing well, forward line looks the goods when the ball is down there.
Darling missed a couple of easier ones. Embley should’ve kicked that last one, gotta back yourself with that experience and he was closer than his previous kick.
Congrats to the Dockers, a good game of footy and if I wasn’t so disappointed I would say it would’ve been a good game to watch.
Not sure why you would want to keep Lycett when you have Sinclair waiting in the wings? Lycett looked out of place.
Agreed with older Selwood… much like Embley, his time could be coming to an end once wellingham, rosa and co return from injury.
Eagles will still finish Top 4 I believe.

Bad news for Lecras. Don’t like to see players like him out of the game.I hope he recovers quickly.
I thought your mids,after the first quarter were badly badly beaten.Gaff,Masten and Schuey were disappointing. Priddis worked hard all night.
Cox, though winning the ruck duels was beaten around the ground badly by Griffen I thought.
I thought that the game was played as Lyon likes his teams to play,apply pressure and make the opposition make mistakes.After half time the Dockers controlled the game.Though the Eagles made a couple of surges at them the game was well in the Dockers keeping.
As you say Kennedy was good but had to do most of it by himself after losing Lecras. Kennedy certainly has good hands,and a big tank.He is a damn good player.
I think the kick that Smith gave away to Mayne, right on quarter time gave the Dockers the momentum to press after quarter time.
Who knows,maybe it would have been different if the Eagles had kicked 5.3 rather than 3.5.
