Federal election

Spot on TM. The way things are currently structured, It’s the coalition against Labor, Greens and Teals who are all preferencing each other. I can’t see a conservative government for a very long time.

1 million Australians chose ALP over LNP as a first preference this time around, a LNP primary vote of 31%, lost the younger gen and women, every city in the country, most voters now don’t even remember when Howard was PM, baby boomers will be even less in 3 years, they sound cactus to me,for a decade at least.

The LNP have had 25 years to deal with the Teals. And have done SFA about it.
It started with the Liberals For Forests. In the Wa ,2001 stste election.Taking box 1 votes of Conservative MP’s.

Smart operators from Blue Blood liberal families like Chaney and numerous others should all be in the Liberal party and shadow ministers - but backward morons force them out…now paying the price.

Can that be fixed Baz.Or is it to late?
Kate Cheney had over 1000 volentees in Curtin.

has to be a purge
eradicate Cash and get Credlin off the screens entirely
and ditch the coalition
someone has to sit down with Cheney
and number one purchase is a new WUSH ear cleaning kit

Skynews is doing huge damage to them , its a right wing echo chamber but 90% of voters don’t watch or relate to it, quite embbarrasing some of the out of date numpties they have on there. Credlin is yesterday hero, she had one big win when Abbott got in and then crashed and burned, if she is so great have a go in politics.

yes mate a massive campaign in my area for Chaney and had ahuge amount of locals support,

is it too late, I tell people its starting to look like the great labor split of the 50s and 60s that kept them out of power for 20 years…

That was solved in the end , so its not to late down the track to form a new look united party.

this is the perfect stage to rebuild from scratch
never get a better chance to clean out
but they have to do it by themselves without the Nationals
they aren’t an ally anymore

Agree fully Southy.

Southerner the nuclear power idea. Was the,Nationals idea not Duttons.
Dutton just dealt with the Nuclear fallout, lol

Looks like Adam Bandt is cactus.

Also Pocock has lost his influence in the Senate, ALP have picked up enough to get stuff through with a less powerful Greens.

Yeah Littleproud, but then put it in regions, but then also be too gutless to go to Collie and campaign for it…btw their vote went backwards in SW.

no-one has been able to find a way to nuclear
because it is far too expensive for what it delivers
and then there is water and how the fuck do you find somewhere safe to store it

good idea but 30 years late.

would never come on stream in time to replace coal over east.

Better hope Albo hands out subsidies for solar batteries in the metro areas because electricity will go through the roof.

DD I’m pretty sure one of Lab’s election promises was to provide subsidies for home batteries, something I will be very interested in. Lets see if an Elbows election promise turns into reality.

One thing we know for sure is despite all the increasing power costs, supposed threats of blackouts, opposition constantly blaming renewables and backing fossil fuels, the vast majority of voters didnt buy it and trusted labor to continue on the path of new energy, clive palmer ran a massive campaign and got ignored, so we can safetly say the climate change battle has been well and truly lost by the pro fossil fuel parties, the old scare tactics are not working anymore with younger voters.

SS there was a very good article by Noel Whittaker in the West a couple of weeks ago where he did the math on the battery rebate and said it was pretty much a waste of time as the cost of purchasing the battery and having it installed even with the rebate would take 16 years to recover which is about its anticipated life span.

I too, looked at Albo’s grand plan but now don’t think it’s going to be worthwhile as initially, demand will likely outpace supply and the costs could rise even further.

Read Whittakers article - he is right, I will be in Carrington Street before I got my money back.

Bloke next door is a maths teacher and physics scientist, he’s done all the maths, on panels and batteries, and reckons whole thing is BS, will never get money back.

He reckons with sensible power use off the grid with no capital spend you actually end up in front.

media already showing Liberal Party just hasn’t listened
still
and after that shellacking
already brawling and assassinating over Dutton’s old job
