You couldn’t ask for a better start to the season:
Defeat SF by 8 goals
Defeat Swans by 10 goals
Defeat EP by 9 goals
Defeat Subi by 9 goals
Bring on the Falcons!

Yep you guys are cruising at the moment. A couple of injury concerns out of tonight’s game as well as Mcgovern last week might slow the Juggernaut a bit. I think West Perth will give the Tigers a run for their money but I think your guys should be too strong at home next week
Yep at CLA you should win that one… WP final four at best… Now EF are going to whip your arse this year…No 9 goal start.. CLA and EF are the only two teams with a chance. Went last year and will go again..
You don’t rate your own side Cardy? good start to the year why do you say final four at best?
Really looking forward to next week = WP v Cl…mouth watering to say the least!!
browney and foster should play be a strong team.
Keep getting error 403???
One more try. I see the present top 5 as being the ones in the fight for the finals.
CLA and EF will be on top and the rest a raffle
Looking forward to the game this week but CLA oval has always been a bit of a hoodoo for us
I reckon you’re getting us at the perfect time - no Blackwell, Seaby perhaps doubtful, Browne 50/50 and no hard games at all so far. I reckon if you come and go hard from the first bounce you’re in with a shot for sure.
It’s been the same the last three seasons, we have three or four easy wins and forget what hard pressure filled footy is all about and as soon as we are faced with it we lose one or two.
Our depth will be tested over the next month or so. Mind you if Seaby is out Mitch Andrews is a good replacement and some of the ressies and bursting for some league action and once in will bust their balls to impress.
Looking fwd to the game.
We got beaten by 20 goals last time we met, so if we can keep it under 30 points, I will be happy.
seaby be shaking in his boots when he runs out. he will be hanging on to rosary beads praying for forgiveness as he ponders why good lord why did I do this. Anyway the mighty falcons have had their problems with the monts over the last few years but there comes a time where the monts will drop one and it could be this Saturday.
Seaby could be out Screemar B) Injury.. Maybe he might stay away because he was going to get a nice reception :woohoo:
Hope he does get a good reception, and maybe look after him by putting him in a fwd pocket and kick a bag for the west perth crowd, sounds good to me Cardy.
Mostly sunny 23 degrees forecast for Saturday so hopefully there is a good crowd for this top of the table clash. I am not massively confident especially as I said before on here we haven’t been challenged yet so won’t be used to hard fast pressure finals type footy so hopefully the Falcs bring their A game.
WP havent beaten anyone of note yet either, they have been very poor recently against claremont at claremont & they will need to improve to win this one as their skills are just average.
T-riffic, I dont think Webby will let your guys slacken off, too many quality players pushing for a chance to establish themselves in what should be a flag team plus Webby has been in the Subi system that dealt so well with being part of a dominating team, winning by big margins week in week out for several seasons.
Hope you’re right but we did have lapses last year, will be an interesting result. Will be missing Foster, Browne, McGovern, Blackwell, Bradshaw and Silvagni - six high quality outs but could see Sibosado play his first league game for a while.

T-rrific I believe we will be ok there are some boys in the 2’s that will be busting a gut to impress. Not saying that WP dont stand a chance just that the best team we field on the day should be able to get the job done. Just my opinion.
Given where your ressies finished last year it would seem that you would be well and truly be able to cover any losses. I don’t expect Claremont to lose too many qualifying games; though with their Foxtel commitments who knows what will be the impact.
The Foxtel Cup won’t be an issue as we have one qualifying game because we are reigning premiers - it’s on Tues June 18th between the winner of Southport and Burnie and will be played at Patersons. If we win that we go through to a 2nd semi in July and win that then it’s the GF which seems a bit odd.
I agree with you Ol Boy it has been a major asset over the past three seasons to have such a good ressies side. I’d love to see Keegan Knott get a go at league level, as well as Hugo Breakey and Matty Goyder.
Some of those younger blokes if they don’t get drafted will be superstars at WAFL level.
Foster, Browne could be in. waiting for sides to be named. we will need these 2 to beat west perth i think. thomo comes in for silvagni anyway with or without sibasado. seaby is playing.
