Well done to Jayden Peake on winning the Strempl medal as the FB for the colts, Jye Amiss 2nd with Jasson Kissack third.
Jayden is a smallish fella who played on the wing, speedy and 99% of the time a great kick.
Well done to Christian Ameduri on his FB win, outstanding as a mid player. Well done to our much maligned backline for the outstanding F&B count,
Great to see Adam Boules take out the reserves award, I wonder if he will get more league games not just the one and then dropped.
Thanks for the 2021 F&B information, Grump.
As far as I could see in the club records, Christian (2021) and Julian (2017) Ameduri are the only set of brothers to win the FD Book Medal.
Well done also to Adam Boules and Jayden Peak on their successes.

OOps, not heard anything abt anything, it was or is more abt what players decide to do post season each and ever year, who knows what players will especially colts players who do not have a draft future. I am sure that all players will consider their futures at any club.
Yes I don’t believe you for one second Grump. Peak is tiny but at least he moves well. Fumbles a bit but certainly a chance of making the reserves squad. Boules does everything well and nothing great. Hopefully stays and looks to play 5-10 league games. Pebbles probably can’t improve much more but may look to move to a club with finals aspirations.

Not sure what this means but I have not spoken to anyone associated with the EPFC since the last game and I am unlikely to until the first pre-season game. Whatever they or the players do will be news for both of us.
It wouldn’t be SD but I am sure that’s not the case. Just fishing for some info from Grump who speaks to disgruntled players at the club. Cahill, Kuek and Ajang Ajang all spat the dummy at the end of the season. Perth and Swans no doubt will be on the phone to half the squad as usual.

and where did you pull that from, I speak to lots of players during the season, many are friends through theirs and my time through development into their playing careers.
I think you need to look to others for more enlightening information.
I have at no time suggested, hinted or said that anyone was leaving other than Jaxon Cahill and he was quite open about is disgruntled position to all and sundry. He may well stay but was not a happy boy.
I spoke briefly to Jaxon Cahill at half-time of the late-season game against Perth at Leederville.
Jaxon had just reinjured himself in the reserves in his second game back after being sidelined due to injury three months earlier.
I sensed he was frustrated by recurring injuries rather than anything to do with the club.
If Jaxon can get his body right - and assuming he wants to continue playing - he has a lot to offer the league side in defence.

i’m not close to any player but remember talking to someone who said that ajang and sebit had walked out of the club at that game. and cahill had to be talked into staying.sebit came back the following week.we lost too many players last year before the season and if we keep losing too many more it won’t matter who we recruit we will be a average team.
I wasn’t sure if Barnard was the best choice moving forward. But for the good of the club the white ants and whingers need to be moved on. Cahill has been given every opportunity so should consider moving clubs if he can’t be a club first person. We all need to be pulling in the same direction.
It is not abt being a white ant or whinging in some cases , it is abt a perception amongst players, support staff, and supporters/members that there were better decisions that should have and could have been made on and off the field.
For players it is abt being told one thing and another happening, it is abt players clearly out of form or depth and being persisted with and others not being given the real opportunity. If it is one player then let then go, if it is a few then perhaps there is an issue, Also it is not rewarding loyalty for those seeking to develop and play league football and clearly that happened.
It is abt being a supporter or members and being able to criticise decisions and plans that are clearly failing in that supporters opinion.
Everyone wants the club to be successful and viable and we will all have to wait and see whether or not that comes about next season
Very sensible post Grump good reading. Some players on any list are just depth players and no point giving them league games out of pity. I can’t think of any players on our list at the moment that warranted more league opportunity. Be interested in your thoughts on that topic. Cox was my pick on talent but needs to do the pre season.
Spot on Grump, there’s a number of boys, who have been loyal during and after the alignment, they import below average players from other clubs and ammos, , play them week after week in a number positions until they can get them a kick
Be interested SD if you can throw some names up to solidify your argument. It’s a bit pointless having these discussions without naming the players in question.

Boules & Underwood were both judged on one game in the league and … players like Simpson who clearly lacks the consistency to be effective for a whole game and whole season but folk will not see past the last minute stuff, Robertson who was in my opinion a complete and utter waste of money over the whole season.
As for loyalty, we knew late in the season that it was beyond us despite the utterances from the coach and we had a player whose loyalty was unquestionable playing week in week out for 99 games (turned out to be 100 games) but oh well we will just ignore that and make him and other players loyal to him feel like crap abt the regime! Now you can say that his loyalty is not sufficient to pick him but sorry I think it is!
Boules could of played more games but I think long term the slow approach will benefit him.
Underwood got himself super fit credit to him, the only position he can play at senior level is tagger due to lack of mobility. Poor teams tag good teams play football.
Simpson won the goal kicking and the only other half decent tall forward on the list is Merritt. I don’t like Simpson going forward myself too slow when it hits the ground.
Robbo was an under-performer absolutely hopefully he improves.
I certainly wouldn’t have complained if Young or Allsop played as a reward for loyalty.
