After a very hot & cold start to the season we have a golden opportunity to make a statement, consolidate 4th spot on the ladder & show that we are a team worthy of being in the 4. We struggled to shrug off the Bulldogs in our previous encounter & I am still wary of the loss we suffered late last year in the final Fremantle Derby. This is a game that we must win if we are to have chance of being a serious contender this year. Any number of results could eventuate for EF from being 3rd on percentage to being knocked out of the 4. Duffy may be available for selection & hopefully Young is not too far away.

I remember that game rock, couldn’t believe the queues when I got there. Fantastic game as well, really enjoyed it as a neutral supporter. What a pity the AFL has encroached on this day

This is east Fremantle - we have some class. Malaxos is in charge now and would set a good example to the players and young supporters, I do not doubt this for one second.

Sutcliffe out of Freo’s team but listed as an emergency along with 2 Peel boys. Peel have the bye so one would think Sutcliffe will play with us.
Brown, Sutcliffe and 2 of the other 3 from WC and we will bury South.
Brown played for the Weagles last game and didn’t do too bad except for his kicking for goals when going forward - I think it was 2 points and 2 out on the full - A True Backman !!!
