I set this thread up wondering if a Trophy was played for in anyone’s name for this Fixture?
Like Sir Ross Hutchinson Trophy,given Sit Ross Coached both Clubs to a League Premiership or 2.
Or is there someone else the 2 Clubs honour in competing against each other?

You might be onto something there Grassy. When Bill decides to hang up the whiteboard there might be a future fixture between the two clubs where they play for a cup or shield with Bill Monaghan’s name on it. Like Perth vs EP the Greg Brehaut Shield.
Bill certainly deserves a look at it.
I’m just wondering if there’s something about Sir Ross’s past that prevents him even a nomination in the Aussie Rules Hall of Fame!
