Great win by West Coast.Big hit on Dangerfield and J Selwood.Eagles played with aggression and put the cats of there game.It looked like the Cats where getting close in the last qtr.But the Eagles steady as it goes.Sam Mitchell was superb tonight. And a welcome return to form for Jack Darling.Well done Jack.Another solid game by Drew Petrie
It has been a long time since I have seen an Eagles outfit play as vigorously as that. They attacked very hard all night. But could have some consequences. Shuey will be in trouble for running past the ball and making head high contact with Dangerfield. And Mitchell has been reported for striking Selwood. Could be minus two next week.
But full credit to the Toasters.Even some of the boundary riders got involved in the rough stuff tonight.
A good win.
Fair to say that Lewis Jetta played his best game for the Eagles tonight. Vardy also played well against his old team. Mitchell and Shuey are definitely in strife.
Great win.
Mitchell will be a fine only,Selwood got what he deserved and if Mitchell goes so does Selwood.
Shuey got him across the chest, had he got him head high he wouldn’t have got up.
The replay will confirm insufficient contact.
Jetta put on a clinic. His kicking was sublime and he was a dangerous player whenever he was near the footy.. Great to see.
Nothing to see there. Insufficient force; move on.

Given he has done nothing for 2 years, it was well over due,
Champs at home chumps away…

Good ol Bazza,i reckon you are a chump at home or away.
Why dont we look at a couple of teams in the 8 that travel.
Like Essendon,a million bucks at Ethiad yet lose to Brissie,Adelaide and Freo on the road.
I reckon 2 of those results would have been different under the roof at there home ground.
There would be teams every year in a similar position, great at home struggle away.
Even Geelong, how many teams win at there fortress down sleepy Hollow, not to many yet on the road they have lost to Gold coast and the Eagles, those 2 results would have clearly gone there way on there home ground.
Yep the Eagles struggle to win there 1 or 2 games at the G but there finals record there is not to Shabby.
Who wouldnt love to win most of there away games and i would hope the Eagles lift there rating in this area but its not all one way traffic when it comes to teams ability to be a different team at home than when they are away.
Last night was a bloody good win and you cant even acknowledge that and Jetta cant win with flogs like you,he puts in a bloody good effort and hes done nothing for 2 years in your eyes,if he had played a smelly game you would have been right on top of that as well.
Hows your team traveling?
At Home and away?
Nothing to see there. Insufficient force; move on.

Unfortunately for Sam he was wearing a West Coast jumper last night, that should swing the interpretation to a guilty verdict. If he was still wearing a Hawthorn jumper fair chance he gets off.
No worries chump apparently I’m the only one in Australia that’s made the observation about the eagles home and away performances.
Anyway talking chumps I’d be less worried about the budgies if I had an avatar like that and investing more time in dissecting Perth’s situation and why their 30plusyeardrought is about to extend yet again..lol.
I don’t shy away from Perth’s woes on here or anywhere else.
In terms of the “away” record of the Eagle everyone is fixated on,I’m saying is check out the away record of some of the other teams over the border.
For example Geelong play 3 away in a row and lose all 3 then play 3 in a row at home and win all 3,play the next one away and lose, what’s said about that, fuck all!
Of course teams like Hawthorn who were a notch above everyone else will be an exception although even they are finding it hard on the road.

Bazza’s team is still in it 30pyd, they still have a silly chance to make the eight!
All things being equal, Selwood will be having a holiday with Mitchell for his gutless hit.
There is no way Selwood will get time. He will get a fine.He is one of the favourites for the Brownlow, so no suspension. So no suspension for Selwood means none for Mitchell.
Shuey is a different case.He ran past the ball to make head high contact with Dangerfield. One down to two.
Imo nothing for Shuey, yep he went past the ball, contact was minimal and mostly got him high on the chest.
Head high and he would have been down for the count,he got up straight away.
