My exposure to it is whilst in the car and I catch the breakfast show with Jack Krawshaw(??) and Wayne Clark and on the Drive Home with MacKenzie Dixon
I’ve also live streamed the Sheffield Shield cricket commentary on my PC at work.
Really enjoy the brekkie show, informative and really funny at times
The Drive show struggles a bit the presenter is so painfull sometimes I switch over and put myself thru the agony of Howard Sattler, before choosing some music. I’ve also listened to live perth heat calls and wildcat live commentary as well.
It provides access to grass roots sports info which I certainly find more interesting than the self promoting shite that 6PR dishes up
I have listened to a few calls through the Internet. Not too bad actually.
Do the Perth Heat still get a decent coverage in the media otherwise?
the heats exposure from my experience is limited, short sharp one liners until they win the championship. Found out this morning via 91.3 that they are about to take part in the asian championship. They interviewed one of their pitching roster who is atttached to the SF Giants. Its just a great allround sports channel that represents WA and personally anything in gold and black I’m barracking for
Listened to all Shield games last year on it and it was very good. Always fun listening to ‘Arnie’ Kevan and Col Minson going on about cricket.Are they still doing the Shield games this year? I know there was a problem last year with either not crossing from a Wildcats final game to the cricket or it could of been vice-versa.
91.3 do a great job and the best part is if you miss the interviews you can go to their web page and download the PODcast which i do all the time from my i-phone plugged into the car sterio whilst driving around. Sh1ts all over 6PR especially for WAFL coverage, and the only station in Aust that covers Shield Cricket ball by ball
