Dockers squad for game V Eagles

The game at VGKO tomorrow morning beginning at 9:30 am. Game on Fox and Kayo.
Strange the club asking for spectators not be present at the game.

I’m too banged up anyway,to see major sporting games of any kind at the moment.

Still getting used to GNBA(not really),can you find that place you mentioned on Maps?

VGKO!!!
Victor George Kailis Oval Cockbun. The Dockers training centre.
A ten minute walk from the railway station.

Ok,that makes sense.

Done a few Wednesday walks from the Station, past the Caravan or Nick’s Palace in years gone by.

You live down tis way Grassy!

Seemed that way for some time, but NO.

Ok all good

Great to see the dorkers are being faithful to their supporters and the community, a closed no supporters scratch match

Grump which one of the taxpayer funded ovals is this game being played at behind closed doors - Mineral Resources or the ARC that neither WC or Fremantle paid a cent for?

ARC, folk are lucky it was one of things called a fence that you can look through!

I’ve watched a bit of all of those ‘match simulation’ matches and I don’t think there were spectators at any of them.

Or the facilities.

Well at Cockburn anyway.

Did you go to that Scratch Match against Adelaide(?)there, when the Public did attend?

If so,what services were provided to the public, particularly away from the Pavilion,if you could call it that?

Have any of you whingers ever been to the Dockers facility?
There is no room to comfortably accomodate a crowd.
The newly built spectator area probably has 100 seats.
The outer is half sand. Do you realise that vinyl records went out 40 years ago ago ago ago.

I think we can accept that neither Club wanted the Public or Press there today.

And the place really isn’t built for spectator viewing, after trying to cater for it once or twice.

So,if you want to see a Docker Scratch Match soon, get in early for the game at Rushton Park.

I am sure the mefia were give full access, as they should have been.
But you blokes just a whinge or a whine. It is natural for you.

Why would close to $100 million of taxpayers money be spent on a facility that no one can attend?
How much did Fremantle tip in to its cost?

On a real subject. It was sad to see Noah Long go down with what looks like a serious knee injury. Possibly done his ACL.
Always sorry to see players cop serious injuries.
I wish him all the best in his recovery.
He really hasn’t been able to get a good run at it since being recruited

I’ve already accepted the above,…

A pretty good game of footy at VGKO yesterday(Saturday) morning.
Very windy morning and the Eastern end was the scoring end.
I think both teams will take something from the game.
The Reids from either side looked good and fit for big seasons.
Dockers big three forwards, Amiss, Treacy and Voss all marked and kicked well.
I thought that Jackson did well as a ruck and mid.The Eagles ruck Flynn also did well.
Funny listening to the callers, in the first and third quarters they referred to the breeze favouring the Eagles end. But the 2nd and last, it was a wind.
Jobe Shananhan yet again showed he is a player with a big future.
Both teams had first choice players missing.
