Cox has been a good support for Jacko but Darcy has more tools in his kitbag. Pretty much Fremantle at full strength now with Sturt the only one not playing. Have looked at Peel side and reserves no sign of Sturt.
Sydneys loss tonight gives the Dockers a chance to go 2 games plus percentage clear in top spot and 3 and a half games ahead of 3rd placed Hawthorn.
They will be motivated to beat Gold Coast, given that the Suns knocked them out of the finals last season.
Longmuir has an embarrassment of riches to choose his team from. Cox has done nothing wrong and has played his part in the teams success but Darcy is the better option if fully fit.
They will probably have an off day at some stage like the Swans had tonight but they would have to do a lot wrong to miss out on top spot now
They’ll be pinch hitting with Darcy though,if one of his knees is under a long term concern.
If they manage him well,he could be most invaluable for Jackson.
