Chris Mayne returns to the fold. Great news.
Excellent news! Is it finalised yet? I’ve heard he is keen to play inside mid
In other news, Conca is unlikely as his partner is from Victoria and he is looking at Essendon in the VFL
He can play mid or a role up forward. More importantly he will add so much to onfield leadership.
Now I wonder if he could talk Mason Shaw to join him? We are badly in need of a ruckman. He He
No thank you to the arrogant useless yank.

DF we would take Mason.
no we wouldn’t
I don’t say this phrase often. But whatever DF. Anyway where did we see the news about the Mayne Man?
Basil on seven news tonight.
It had been hinted previously by a poster on this forum.
Brilliant. I think you’re referring to Mason Cox Smokey. Mason Shaw is the SF tall forward. At I think 211 cm he would be most welcome.
Welcome home Mayney. Will be a great leader and teacher for our young mids.

A ‘seniors’ moment DD. Apologies.
Can anyone remember what number Mayne was when he played for Perth? My sister wants to know.

Great news to get Chris back at the club.
I hope we have appointed him an Asst Coach.
Hopefully Basil is on the money for once, but after that GF fark up, probably it’s best to wait till PFC announces it officially, but then again considering PFC communication prowess, perhaps Basil is the better bet……..Always good to see former players return to their club of origin, especially after a long AFL career of 200+ games…definitely a plus for the PFC and the comp as a whole…hopefully at 32/33 Mayne has more knee ligaments then Masto did.
1 point player = no brainer. Good get for Perth and will provide plenty of leadership as well, i’d think
So pick up a few reserves from other clubs and our recruiting is done.
I heard another recently delisted player could be headed our way. The Eagles are chasing a ruckman from the WB (no not Tim English) as a replacement for recently retired premiership player Nathan Vardy. As long as Naitanui stays fit our ruck woes will be covered as well as a few other areas everyone is always complaining we lack. We will be more than just competitive next year if the tin foil hat party doesn’t get in the way.
DD, Vardy is back in Melbourne.

I wasn’t referring to Vardy Smokey as a potential recruit if that’s what you’re thinking.
