Cheers,Mark Lecras

Hangs up the boots as a Premiership player.

Wonderul career at West Coast,3rd as the all time goal kicker at the club,Club with 441 goals, club champion,All Australian, over 200 AFL games and who could forget his 12 goals at Ethiad Stadium in 2010.
Great mark and great set shot for goal lots thought he should have retired at the end of 2017 but played on and with a new look forward line with Rioli and Ryan taking a fair bit of pressure off him Mark had a great last year capping it off with a Premiership medallion around his neck.
Retires at the right time.
Cheers Mark.

Yes well played Lecca.
I thought that he was gone a couple of years ago and shouldn’t have gone on this year. But he proved me wrong.
He has been a good servant to the club and goes out a winner.

Lecca convinced Simmo that he had another year in him at the end of last season. He also played under injury in the last few weeks of the season.Requiring surgery on his wrist.Players like this win clubs Premierships. Onya mate all the best.

I wonder if he will go back to WP next season or go play up at Cervantes with his brother Brent?

You’d think he’d be offered some sort of coaching role at WCE even on a part time basis mentoring the small forwards like Rioli, Ryan and Venables.

To average over two goals a game over that long a career is outstanding. Was a beautiful kick of the ball, although after his knee reconstruction I thought his kicking technique wasn’t quite as solid as originally.
