Looks like Voss may be under the hammer again this season.
Pretty ordinary team played tonight.
For a short time one would have thought an upset was brewing,with the Blues edging out to a 22 point lead in the 3rd Quarter.
But sadly for them,they were blown away in an avalanche,with an 85 point turnaround in just over 1 and 1/2 Quarters.
Haven’t heard the post game analysis yet,but it can’t be pretty for Carlton.
Same old same old
I watched the first qtr which was a scrappy affair understandably first game nerves and rust, Logan McDonald had a qtr to forget. But later watched the mini and never seen so many finals like goal celebrations like they just kicked the first goal in a granny or the sealer. Then the huff and puff that followed. Geezus has the extra interchange given them that much energy to waste?
I long for the days when a bloke just got a pat on the bum and players just went back their positions.

To all those Carlton supporters with the “blues” after last night, take consolation in knowing that at the moment you are still second on the ladder and even after tonight, you can’t be lower than 4th.

Same silly goal celebrations in last nights game. Carrying on like a Hollywood hero. I remember when a goal was kicked there was just a quick pat on the back then back to the business…..or maybe I’m just turning into a grumpy old fart.
Carlton have 546 around every contest, that takes a lot of petrol. Once they run out of petrol, they have NO OUTSIDE run…same as last year.
