C3, Round - 16

Before we have a look at the games I just wanted to ask if any games have been moved or canceled due to ground conditions! I had a read on the West that local councils are out inspecting grounds and it showed a picture of A grade club Ocean Ridge that looks like a swimming pool. I know that the rossmoyne game got moved last week due to their ground conditions. Let’s hope the rain holds off on Saturday. Now…. Last week, Coolbinia showed that they are not done yet having a close win over east freo. This makes fifth spot interesting for another week. Cott with the win over ossy park. Swan valley with a one point thriller over top spot canning. Warnbro traveled up the hill to take out the victory and willo did enough against uni.

Tough task for canning to travel down south after last week. They might have a few sore bodies I hear and now face warnbro who are looking to get to second spot.
Canning by 10 points

Swan valley I hope still have enough in them to keep this momentum going. Willo are all but done but I hope remain competitive. How’s the pitch looking viper? Valley by 5 goals

Can ossy park get one more win under their belt before season end. They have every chance this week against uni.
Ossy park by 15 points

Cott v east freo….. GOTR for me. A loss and could potentially fall out of the five. A winner holds forth and a home final advantage. Everything on the line and very important. Can east freo bounce back from last week, do cott have some of their important FIFO players back this week? East freo by 3 points

Coolbinia big impressive win last week and have their foot in the door to the five. They really need to back it up and have a solid win this week. Rolly are no push over tho and win would really shake things up. Coolbinia by 2 goals

Good luck everyone

on point as usual KTB! My ladies game has been moved from Cott to Mosman Park but that’s about it for our club. If results go our way, we could end up on top of the ladder. I’ll check tonight but the boys trained Tuesday and just used the other side of the oval. It’s in pretty good nick considering.

Swans Vs Tigers - GOTR - Tigers by 1 point on the weekend and Swans by 3 goals make this a mouth watering contest with so much on the line. Top spot, 2nd spot, 3rd spot. This game will be checked the moment it finishes for results and I’m going with who i want to win rather than who I think will win. Swans by 2 points over my old mates Tigers.

Valley Vs Blues - The deck could wreak a bit of havoc Saturday depending on how much rain drops in the morning. Valley have come good at the right time winning some recent close games against top 5 teams and The Blues will need to bring their best to put it up The Valley. Valley by 5 goals

Students Vs Saints - Saints are going to win again here as Students have their reserves playing finals so doubling players up at the moment. Saints by 4 goals

Roosters Vs Eagles - I bloody well talked up the Eagles and the crash landed on me ffs! I thought they were back and now I think they’re gone again and playing silly buggers! Roosters wanting to cement their spot in the 5 will win here by 4 goals

Falcons Vs Tigers - Another mouth watering contest with 5th up for grabs. Neither team can afford to lose or finals is nearly gone. Tigers served it up to Swans so on that form I’m going them by 10 points

good luck all and enjoy the frothies!

I have herd that the masters games and some junior games have been canceled for Sunday due to ground conditions.

yep plenty got cancelled due to the weather in the morning. 2pm it was good weather so I think they pulled the trigger too early

Tigers mauled the Swans by 29 points

Valley by 28 over The Blues

Saints by 3 points over The Students (picked that one)

Roosters by 53 over The Eagles who had to forfeit their reserves

Falcons by 10 points over The other Tigers

Tigers are done for the year by my calcs … would need a lot to go their way to get back in to the 5 from here, Eagles are still a chance as they play the students in the last round and given Coolbinia play 2 top 5 teams they could get knocked out unless they win one.

big 2 weeks coming up!
