Now we start the run home and the all important home finals … 5th spot is shared by 3 at the moment and they’re only 1 game behind 3rd so it will be a red hot run home. Looks like The Saints are one team being relegated at this stage but the other spot is up for grabs still.
Valley Vs Students - Last time was about 4-5 goal win to Valley in terrible conditions and this week may only be slightly better! Nice ceremony set up at Valley this weekend and the boys need to win to keep in touch with the top 2 or risk dropping out of the 5. Valley at home by 5 goals
Eagles Vs Swans - I think this might get a tad nasty if The Eagles don’t show up to play. They had a great win last weekend over the ladder spooners at the moment but they are more up and down that a whores drawers at this point. Swans should win by 5 goals but who knows!
Tigers Vs Roosters - MOTR - oh my this is a tasty match up to start the run home. Roosters managed to sneak a late goal to steal a draw on the weekend even after kicking the first 5. Tigers need to win this one and send a message they’re the team to beat. Roosters by 4 points. I heard a rumour a player from the Cott bench ran on the ground to remonstrate on the weekend. Hope that isn’t the case … very ordinary if so.
Tigers Vs Saints - Take the Saints lightly at your own peril is my advice. They got mauled by The Eagles on the weekend but were pushing the top 5 before that so might have lost a couple. Tigers at home by 7 goals
Blues Vs Falcons - This will be a rip snorter too albeit to get out of relegation zone. Blues copped it last week while the Falcons fell 3 points short of the ladder leading Tigers. On this form alone you have to pick The Falcons and by 8 points for me.
not that i am one to point out when you are wrong Viper but there are not 3 teams in 5th mate. ladder is
Canning 36pts
Warnbro 32 Pts
Valley 30 pts
Cott 30 pts
East Freo 26 pts
Rolley 24 pts
Coolbinia 24 pts
Jaygee, I think what Viper means is that 5th spot is up for grabs between the three. 5th 6th and 7th are all so close and looking like a three horse race for that 5th spot.
Short and sweet this week for me gents.
Valley over Uni by 6 goals
Warnbro by 9 points away from home against east freo.
Canning at home in a close one by 5 points
Rolly by 5 goals, but saints could maybe cause an upset??
Coolbinia were unlucky last week just failing short some silly decision making cost them. I think they will get up over willo by 2 goals
first of all lets not make excuses for him kicktheball, Viper got it wrong ha ha ha
Valley will get job done
warnbro over east - heard east have a few boys on holidays
Cott will beat Canning in a close one
Roley over OP
Coolbinia i think will get up over willo
Just opened the results when I logged on here … oof!
Valley by 69 over The Students … only saw the first quarter but it was close at quarter time then Valley just took over and turned it on for the rest of the game. Students doubling players up has to hurt. Surely some fringe players in C3/AR could have played on a bye weekend?
Eagles by 22 over The Swans who clearly don’t like wet weather
Tigers mauled The Roosters who have been in red hot form the past month and have come crashing down against a couple top 5 teams.
The Other Tigers disposed of The Saints by 20 points
The Blues by 21 over The Falcons. They play well against the top teams then lose to the bottom 5 … remarkable!
That now leaves The Falcons with some hard work to do to make the 5 with The Tigers, Roosters and Eagles all vying for 4th and 5th now. No team can afford to lose a game.
