C2,. Round 4

The end of round 3 results seen Piara flex a little more with a big win over Cott. Basso missed out on there first win as they couldn’t catch canning, canning just holding on in the last minutes to win by 7 points. Canning Vale big win over Gossy who had at least half a dozen of their star players out. Belmont also looking the goods especially with the couple of inclusions they have added to fine tune their list. With the game under lights out in the valley. The valley boys looked in control in the first half before Kingsley had a better second half to run away winners.

Belmont are coming along nicely and like i said they have added a few handy players to their list. Valley needs to put together a solid four quarter effort and it needs to be solid when you come up against this Belmont side.

Belmont by 4 goals

Basso are knocking at the door in search for their first win, I feel it’s not far off. Cott got caught out last week and were flat. If basso can bring back that old fashioned hardness they will be a chance.

Cott by 9 points

Canning v Canning Vale. Both sitting mid ladder and both sides will fancy themselves this week. I think both sides will match up well against each other and the difference will be decided with who can finish off better. Canning by 2 points

Gossy had a few missing last week including there captain, woodsy (gone back to Albany?) and ball magnet Pescod (fifo?). With balla sitting bottom they have nothing to lose and could really get into this one. Gossy would want to be careful not to let this slip. Gossy by 3 goals

Top of the table clash for GOTR. From memory Kingsley were in a similar position last year going into rd4 having won 3 in a row before the wheels dropped off and they lost a couple. They have good depth with their ressies also doing well. Piara have built some solid foundations and have a fountain of youth coming up the ranks. Piara at home will have the slightest upper hand in this game. Piara by 10 points

Good luck everyone

that’s 4 down and I’ll try to remember to do my tips this week.

Bombers by 27 points over Valley, Roosters by 20 points over Swans, Tigers by 18 over The Cougars, Hawks by 96 over The Royals, Falcons by 11 over The Cats.

We have our 2 clubs undefeated in Piara and Belmont, 6 teams from 1-3 wins and our 2 down the bottom. Valley having played 3 of the top 4 to open their account has worked out to be a bit rough and been in every game which is a good sign but have the 4th team this week in Gosnells. Be interesting to see how they fair against the middle teams which will be their run to round 9.

Canning, Cott and Canning Vale the other 3 teams in the middle there and the run to Round 9 will be interesting and by then we will have a good handle on the 5 but the middle of the table could be very mouth watering.
