C2 - Round, 12

What a week of football….. wow. Interesting results across the board. Let’s start with the Kingsley win, close all the way to the final quarter Belmont seemed to have run out of gas while Kingsley found another gear and powered home to get up by 15 points. Quinn’s made easy work with beach with a big 45 point win. Ellenbrook tried but Carlisle were too good in the end. Cobras come from behind to get up by 8 points over Canning Vale. Nelson put his team on his back to try and carry them home but unfortunately his 7 goals wasn’t enough. The big cobra country man down the other end bagged 4 as the cobras kept their finals hopes alive. Huge upset was Piara getting up by 24 points. Forrestdale lacked intensity and were very flat in the first quarter were Piara kicked a massive nine goals. There captain and full forward had 9 for the day as forrestdale slowly got going but the damage was already done.

GOTR….. Belmont v canning vale. Both need to respond after last week. Belmont 23 point winners back in round three. I’m leaning towards canning vale in this one. Canning Vale by 9 points

This was very close for GOTR also, Forrestdale 1 point thriller at the bull ring. Now on there home deck. They can’t afford to have a slow start like last week. Quinn’s you would think might be a little more fresh and up for the big challenge. Quinn’s by 3 points

Beach at home to have a win over Ellenbrook, although I won’t be surprised if the eels win. Beach by 4 goals

Kingsley should make it another win against Carlisle. In round three it was only 8 points different, so let’s hope the Carlisle boys can put up another good fight. Kingsley by 6 goals

Another contender for GOTR. This is going to be a battle of the big full forwards… round three the cobras absolutely spanked Piara by 78 points and the big fella kicked 9. Times have changed and I think Piara has been cooking something. The bigger open space will favour the cobras but after last week I think piara are up and about. Piara by 5 points with a kick after the siren to win.

Good luck everyone

Awesome write up ktb. Loving the look of the ladder so far & the opportunities for any team to make finals this year is good to see.

Belmont v Canning Vale.
With belmont it seems they have a few boys in & out every couple of weeks i think they may have lost stubbsy too & canningvale in a bit of a form slump not losing by much but will be itching to get up this week. CV by 3 goals.

Forrestdale v Quinns.
Forrestdale will be up & about after being handed their first loss last weekend, having a few key players out didnt help also sleeping on the opposition in the first having 9 goals kicked on them didnt help. Goal kicking could have been a lot better. Naidoc round this week wearing a ex player who has passed design jumper is going to have the boys fired up & ready to make a statement against the bulls. In for a cracker. Forry by 1 point again.

Beach v Ellenbrook
Beach at home to run amuck on the eels. Beach by 65 points.

Kingsley v Carlisle
Kingsley got up against the bombers last week which shows they’ve still got it. Carlisle to give them a good run for a half but run out of legs. Cats by 42 points.

Cockburn v Piara
This is my GOTR with cockburn coming along nicely having a great defence structure & run. Piara coming off the win last week & a rediculous first qtr which i like to call Pretty Football. 10 goals straight pulling goals from everywhere. Only thing that piara will need again week is they same short umpire to make sure they hold on to the win! :joy:
cobras to shut them down defensively & get up by 4 points.

Goodluck everyone. My favourite round of the year hope everyone takes it all in! :black_heart::yellow_heart::heart:
