I noticed Girolami hurt his knee last week and was limping but finished the game out. Hopefully nothing too serious.
Ins: Campbell HENDERSON, Jack PETRUCCELLE
Outs: Jordan FARAONE, Nicholas GIROLAMI

Real shame about Girolami, he had a real presence up forward last week, but cant take chances with a knee. Jack Pet will really need to show some impact on the game, hopefully he’s over his injury troubles and fit to pay. Going to be a slog given the weather, especially given we are the 2nd league game played at Leedo this weekend, plus ressies & colts, not sure how the WAFC could phark up the fixturing so badly.
On a positive note, I see Jarrod Richards has been named in the ressies. Not sure what happened as we haven’t seen him at any level for over a month.
And Jacob Evitt
2 wins and 3 losses by less than a goal is enough to give an old bloke like me a heart attack.
I thought we were beaten through the middle for a large part of the game which put pressure on our defence who battled on pretty well. Nice work by Henderson, Mayo, Robbins and Petruccelle at times up forward and the Motts, Clarke, Giro and Burke around the middle, Savigni and Blight down back.
We’ll take the W but will need to lift even more to stay in the five.
Kudos to Swans for having a crack when undermanned even worse than us.
Good hard working win against a determined swans. Who’s that Campbell Henderson bloke need more of that from him and on a quality opponent Collins for most of the game.
Mullane looks like he has a leg injury we will miss him
Gee I dunno BC, we had too many passengers for mine. Lucky to get that win. I think we were just a bit classier and maybe fitter.
I’d like to see how Bartlett goes if he slimmed down a bit, has those freaky skills. It was good that a couple of the guys that were down got us over the line in the end. Blight was huge today. Kohlmann had one possession,
Next week against Souths - a real test of where we are at.
Once again on the wrong side of the ledger with the umpires. But what stung was the three frees against for throwing when they were just bloody slick handballs!
It was just good to win. A loss today would have really hurt, in more ways than one. Bit of luck in the end. We didn’t look great for long periods of the game.
Congratulations to forward Hendo. Break out game. Hopefully many more to come.
Subi’s home games this year:

Big game nek week
….against a South side, out for Redemption after having their Doggie undies unravel in 1 Quarter.
Could be a hard day all round for the Lions.
Their Colts Coach will be cracking the whip after their result yesterday.
Positives - we played 10 minutes of good football and still scraped in-Swans put a lot of pressure on us and their top tier guys hurt us. C Hendo showed what he can do on a quality opponent and filled the Girolami gap which I for one doubted he could do. Schofield started to find touch late in the game. Dominated in the air and 82 tackles. Richards and Evitt back in the ressies, Simmons kicked 2.2 in a losing team.
Not so positive - we have lost Mullane with a leg injury to add to our list. Monsters from most other sides will still monster us in the ruck, despite the gutsy efforts of Miller and Rickson, Free next week. Rickson and Miller could play key positions, both under 200cm. We need a monster for next season. Even Swans ressies ruck Murdoch is 208cm ffs. Fin Hendo is 200cm, but only 19yo. Some blokes are lucky to be getting a game atm
