Media reports state Brian Cook is being pursued by North Melbourne to fill the CEO role left by Eugene Aroccas’ departure earlier this season. Good luck to Brian & his family if he accepts this job as he has been a magnificent servant to Club. His work alongwith Frank Costa brought the Club from financial disaster to where it stands now in the AFL. For Geelongs’ sake i hope he stays as he an outstanding CEO.
Brian Cook has agreed to terms with the Cats & will continue in role as CEO. This will enable him to see the completion of the new stand at the Cattery. Good news for the Geelong FC.
Best summation of B Cook, was from Frank Costa ( ex Pres who was hugely responsible for the cats golden era), when he scored Cook as the CEO, he commented that “we have just got the Gary Ablett (snr)of CEO’S”. Very accurate in hindsight.
