Some pleasing news for the club to hear that Merv McIntosh has been elevated to Legend status in the AFL Hall of Fame.
IMHO, a much overdue acknowledgement.
And Rob Wiley has been added to the AFL Hall of Fame. Well deserved…
Yes great news indeed.
Australian Rules Football Hall of Fame. Neither played in the AFL.

Very well deserved, albeit very belated.
Hopefully, several more WA players will received the deserved status of legend of the game of Aussie Rules.
It is called the Australian Football Hall Of Fame not the AFL!
Congratulations to both Merv and Rob, well deserved honours.
yep well deserved pity we don’t get more included each year though

I take your point BH.
Big Mac is now an AFL…Australian Football Legend.
I notice the AFL have expanded the text size of ‘AFL’ on the logo and reduced ‘Australian Football’ text so it’s barely readable…
The videos are awesome, particularly the footage of Wiley tearing it up for Perth (with a few cameos from Stinger!)

Thanks Satan, I wouldn’t have seen that if you didn’t put it up. I will be showing my boys - this is why i love the WAFL boys -great footage
There is some great archival footage of the Great man.
A giant of the game.
You should be able to pick it up with Google/Utube.
Was lucky enough to get his signature on a Centenary jumper now in the museum at Lathlain.
WOW 2 legends of Australian football out of the PFC.

The other player in the first image of Wiley is a young Dean Farmer. No 19.
