Bad round injury wise.

A bad round of AFL for several players and club.Close to home West Coast player Jack Darling has suffered a bad ankle break it seems and will miss between for and six weeks.Bad luck for Darling, as he has been in career best form all year.
Also Jake Lever from Melbourne has done a knee and will miss the remainder of the season.
Charlie Cameron has suffered a similar fate as Lever and will miss the remainder of the season.
All football followers I am sure will wish all three speedy recoveries. It is never good to see players miss large chunks of their career through serious injury.

The reaction from the club on Darling seems to be more positive, giving him only 4-6 weeks out - which is a bit less than Liam Ryan.

Be nice to have them both fit and running at the pointy end of the season.

By that response, I will take it that you are an Eagles supporter!!!

Always is sad to see players go down like that. I think everyone wants to watch the best on the park, but we increasingly see players sidelined nowadays. Maybe slowing the game down a bit would help?

Yes - since their inception.

However, as I was was a long term resident south of the river when the Dockers were born, and under considerable pressure from my kids, I flirted with changing to the Dockers.

One live game at Subi was enough…

A terrible one for Jake Lever.Been playing good footy the last month.Melbourne traded heavily to secure his services from Adelaide.$800,000 a year and Melbournes two first draft picks this year. And his second ACL in the same knee in 5 years.Only aged 22 hope we see his potential as an AFL player.

And that one live game was enough to make you want to troll the Dockers at every opportunity you get!!!

You seem to be getting off topic, anchor…

I totally agree, but I shake my head if that is the case.

Just heard on the 6 o’clock news Jack Darling is out for between 4 to 6 weeks.
