G’day Lads,
Bassendean v Mount Lawley
Basso recorded a very impressive away win against the Warriors whilst the Hawks lost away by 2 goals to an injury hit Creek.
Basso hits for the 3rd straight week the maximum 43 player points allocation and after last weeks win put the Grade on Notice that they mean Business.
The Hawks with their Master Coach will push Basso, however, Basso’s Big Mids who gut run both ends of the ground will prove the difference.
Basso to win by 31 Points.
Ballajura v West Coast
Balla lost away last week to Swan Ath by 3 Goals whilst West Coast lost a close one to the Roos by less than a straight kick.
You would have to search the record books for when West Coast previously lost League, Ressies and Colts at home. I suspect it hasn’t happened for a very long time.
I wouldn’t like to be playing West Coast this week and poor old Balla will no doubt be up against a
hungry and determined West Coast.
West Coast to win by 61 Points.
Wanneroo v Ocean Ridge
The Roos recorded a very impressive win away against West Coast and Ridge had a very solid win at home against Kingsley to celebrate a former League Captain’s milestone game in style.
Ridge are a classy hardworking Team who belong in B Grade.
Number 16 for Ridge is a Class Act ( forward line) who can win a game off his own boot.
The Roos made a Big Statement of intent by beating the Pre Season Flag favourite which simply can’t be ignored.
Ridge will test the Roos, however, the Roos’s confidence is sky high and why not after last week’s heroics.
Roos to win by 21 Points
Swan Athletic v Bullcreek
Swan Athletic won last week at home by 3 Goals over Balla whilst Creek had a 2 Goal win over the Hawks at home even though they were hit by many injuries.
I said this before and I will say it again the Creek have a great spine and midfield.
Class Team on the rise with form and confidence on their side.
Creek to win by 37 Points
Kingsley v Whitfords
Kingsley lost last weekend away to Ridge whilst the Warriors lost at home to Basso.
Whitfords needs to play the Big Number 20 in the Ruck where he excels ( possibly the best Ruckman in the Grade).
Not sure if he’s carrying an injury but he spent 90% of last week on the Half Forward line whilst the Warriors got smashed in the guts.
That said it look likes Kingsley are in for a long season in rebuild mode.
The Warriors to rebound and win by 27 Points.
Over and out.
