B Grade Rd 13

So back at it we go, hopefully, maybe, who knows what could happen in the blink of an eye. Love to know if the PFL has any ideas about the integrity of the season now having lost 2 games, something has to happen especially for the 9 team grades where teams will now play less games than others due to the bye. No matter what happens though we all know someone will sook.

Anyways onto our beloved B grade this week. Comp now pretty much split in 2. The 5 is basically sorted just need to set final positions. Its a proper relegation battle royale for the other 5. Doesnt look like a lot of rain tomorrow but apparently going to bucket down today so ground should be nice and heavy still.

Bassendean v Bullcreek
Big game this one and both will go pretty hard. Basso been a little out of sorts before the break and i think the mini break might just kick them into gear towards the business end of the year. Basso 4 goals.

Swan Ath v West Coast
Been critical of West Coast a little this year and i think theyve deserved it. Some games they have been terrible then before the break they knock over the league leaders. Still not sure what to make of them but they will get the job done here. West Coast 4 goals.

Wanneroo v Whitfords
Full confidence the Roos hop back on their train here and give the wayward Warriors a belting. Wanneroo 10 goals

Ballajura v Ocean Ridge
Ridge finally stumbled on one they shouldnt have before the break. Royals will smell blood and maybe able to sneek one here in their relegation battle but ive been with the new kids all year so cant stop now. Ridge 3 goals.

Kingsley v Mt Lawley
Big game in the battle royale stakes here. Hawks finally look like they are starting to find something and Kingsley to will be up and about after their win before the break. Real toss of the coin. Mine landed on Mt Lawley 2 goals.

Love your passion OldSkoolWayz

Well we are back again for another week of football. Even though MrM said this last weekend, yet it was to no avail…
HANDS UP who is ready for football this weekend though?
MrM has been contacted and his idea of awarding all home sides in Round 3 victory and to make things fair, award all away sides in Round 12 is being seriously considered by the P.F.L and they appreciate MrM for coming up with brilliant ideas. That being said, interesting to see what will happen in this regard, but am sure it will be something imaginative – like just playing the rest of the season out as normal, which would make most sense…

We do digress though, MrM has contacted his Lawyers to speak to Fullback about his cease and desist, however the gentleman or gentlewoman is nowhere to be seen…where will he pop up? In other news, this write up is very difficult to write during the day when you are at home, MrM needs his weekly commute to work resuming. Let us look.

Bassendean v Bullcreek Leeming @Jubilee Reserve

Bassendean back at home in such a big game for them this weekend, they ill not want to drop a game against a contender here, but they are looming large, is it true about unrest amongst the playing group? Time will tell. Bullcreek though, they will consider themselves every chance here. They are playing good football and want a good chance to show they are a serious team. What a great game we have in store. I think Basso at home though, in front of the packed crowd under the pavilion if it rains, will win here.
Bassendean by 2 goals

Swan Athletic v West Coast @Swan Athletic Sporting Club

Could someone from Swan Ath please enlighten MrM what has happened to Fawell Park? That rolled off the tongue. Massive game though this weekend for the Ath, knowing a win could keep the slim chance of finals alive. A loss and the battle for relegation heats up. They come up against a well-drilled, hungry West Coast side. It is a danger game for both clubs in a sense. Each side needing a win, Is number 71 playing? If so Swan Ath a chance, if not, goodbye.
West Coast by 2 goals

Wanneroo v Whitford @Wanneroo Showgrounds

A game back at home for Wanneroo and they will want to rebound from the last time they played. Given that West Coast dictated all day, virtually, Wanneroo know a better showing is needed. Whitford on the other hand, MrM still cannot fathom how you have a Reserves team un-defeated, yet if the season was to end today the League side would get relegated, unimaginable, yet this is the case. Whitford usually fire up for these games, but I still expect Wanneroo to be good enough.
Wanneroo by 3 goals

Ballajura v Ocean Ridge @Kingfisher Oval

The Balla boys are undefeated for consecutive weeks now and that is flying for the club this season. They have caused near upsets so far this season and I expect at their home ground, they may cause more havoc. Onion Ridge meanwhile they haven’t won for a few weeks, and you know they will be hungry. MrM hopes they have the clash strip ready as black on black will be very hard to distinguish under the Kingfisher sunset and lights. I think Ballajura will go very close here. But Onion Ride may have enough to get it done.
Ocean Ridge by 3 goals

Kingsley v Mt Lawley @Kingsley Park

In Terms of massive games, they do not get much bigger than this at all, for either side. A win for each club would be massive. A Loss and it falls into real danger zone. Usually 5 games is enough to see off relegation, so the race is on. Kingsley have improved this season as it has gone on, but they need a big effort this weekend against another club on the improve. Mt Lawley have shown a lot in recent games and you know they are going to bring it here. I think they can cause an away win here, it will be tough in front of a vocal and night crowd at Kingsley.
Mt Lawley by 2 goals

Good luck this weekend all.

Only a few views given for B grade which is a little disappointing, but Mr M does add some humor and I picked up your dig you mentioned about Basso… Heard something? I hear just general gossip around the lunch room so not sure if it has substance or not.

Anyway. Bassendean V BC - Bullcreek will be looking to bounce back after suffering a loss against the Hawks. Basso are hard to predict as they started off like a house on fire then SA started the losses for them. Bower and Hardingham and a couple of others hard to stop. BC to bounce back and have a win by 3goals.

SA V WC - West Coast starting to travel along nicely and I dont see that changing here. SA up and down like the rest of the bottom half so WC by 4goals

Wanneroo V Whitford - Doubt Whitford will be bringing in the extra players like they did a couple of weeks ago for 1 game. Maybe they should take Mr M’s advice and play some top Res players into the league, if they want to that is. The reserves players may not want to play up and stay in a winning side, so Wanneroo to have a decent win by 7goals +

Ballajura V OR - This should be a good game. Ballajura need to bring 4qtrs to match it with OR in what could help decide the double chance for OR and relegation for Ballajura. plenty to play for here. OR by a goal but would not be surprised to see Ballajura scrape home.

Kingsley V Mt Lawley in GOTR. Huge game for both teams and I hear in the lunch room chatter that the Hawks are missing a couple again, so could be a good opportunity for Kingsley to get a home win. In what should be a tug of war under lights this could well be a draw or a kick either way.

Good luck to all and stay safe.

Well clearly none of us saw that whitfords result coming. Any reports on what happened up there is Saturday MrM ??

The kids now lost 2 on the trot in games they probably would have felt fairly confident going into, Ridge kids running out of puff ??

Basso and West Coast did what they should and Mt Lawley will be feeling good about themselves getting a good win against another relegation contender.

Any ring ins at whitford over the weekend? Or did some 2s players go up?

Ballajura got the chocolates over the onions at the worst oval in Western Australia.

Yes.
Whitfords played well
Wanneroo did not.

MrM over and out.

Wanneroo dropped 1s players back to the 2s to secure a victory and end the winning streak. Didn’t eventuate and the 1s were shown up too.
Pure arrogance.

That’s an odd thing to do isn’t it The Shiz?Valuing a Reserves win over a League one. I wonder why they would do that ?

Just out of interest how many players did they drop back ?
You can even name them, send MrM a private message if you must. Or a call. Seeing as MrM isn’t in the loop anymore, would love to know the reasoning behind this.
Please enlighten us all.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards MrM

Mr M , we might have more chance of our good friend 1987wce listing off the extensive list of ring ins Whitfords used to beat Mt Lawleys coach a few weeks back…

As an aside, I’ve always wondered how much the shopping centre club pay Keunen and Bartholomew for their services. Or do they also live in the area and just want to play with mates?

Probably talking about the player with 100 games of WAFL experience, playing one random game and not playing again. Does MrM care about that? No.

MrM wants answers to his questions please. Thank you.

As for Blunder, one is a Reserves coach - pay him whatever you want.
The other MrM does not care.
Again all MrM wants are answers to his questions please. Thank you.

Shots fired look out. Lets hope the The Shiz can reply with answers and at least keep it civil.

There is a few old crew from West Perth running around at Whitfords together, thats why Keunen and the like are there.

Nothing to see here re: the 3 senior Wanneroo players dropping down to play Reserves. They all had a wedding to go to in the afternoon.

I do admire your attempt to give me answers The_Duck. However government restrictions on Saturday meant weddings were unable to be had with a crowd.
So more answers are needed please The Shiz
Thank you

You all should know by now, you cant sneak anything past Mr M

Just have a look at the team sheets Mr M. All on the WAAFL app or website.

not too hard to see the players that were dropped.

Or you could just stop sooking.

Thanks The Shiz, for replying 3 days late. Would hate have your NBN connection.

MrM got his super sleuths on to it, and found 2 reserves players who were promoted to League the week before, dropped back to Reserves that weekend.
Shameful actions on Wanneroo’s part for sure.

Keep sooking
