B Grade is shaping up to be a very interesting competition this year, with these predictions, there is every chance i could be wrong. Not Going into premiership credentials yet, as i need to see each team play.
Top 5 (No Particular Order):
Kingsway: Going to be hard to beat this year, very good depth.
Collegians: Proved last year that they were able to compete with the big boys, major threat
Wanneroo: Due to climb this year, new coach in Brayden Duckworth, as well as the additions of Luke Todesco and Marc Crisp, bound to be genuine contenders.
Nth Fremantle: A team who were there abouts last year, injuries plagued them, looked dangerous towards the end of the year, Shane Woewodin bound to strive to get this proud club back in A Grade.
Swan Athletic: Lots of handy inclusions, a club who always contends, will make the 5.
Bottom 5 (No Particular Order):
Mt Lawley: You can never rule out the hawks, will be unlucky to miss the 5 next year, and could replace anyone in there.
Hamersley Carine: Coming down from A Grade last year, dont see them as a threat, bottom 5 for mine.
Kelmscott: Lost their coach in Steven Dodd, and have seen a lot of players leave, cant see them making the 5, but with Kelmscott you never know.
Stirling: This club always critised for their depth, in my opinion will not last in B Grade for long, but could cause a few upsets.
Maddington: Bound to struggle, requesting to stay in c1 is not a good sign, and cant see them achieving a lot.
Such a hard grade to predict pre season due to the high player turnover each year but what you have said above is pretty accurate. Top 5 will be pretty close to the mark although I see Stirling have a few handy ins this year so may surprise a few although will need a lot go right for them. Kelmscott look to have a heap of league players seeking clearances out and considering there reserves were pumped all of last year, the immediate future looks bleak.
Any news on any scratch matches played as yet? - I see Stirling are playing ballajura (c1 promoted) this weekend and Kingsway are playing willetton as well - early days but any match reports would be appreciated

Should both be good sighters for both kingsway and stirling, kingsway play wanneroo in a few weeks in a scratchy, will be a game to watch.
MrM cannot believe, a topic started without him, no permission either. Well done for getting B Grade off the ground for 2017 though.
Greetings from the nations Capitol, Washington DC.
Campus is currently alive and buzzing with excitement, (just don’t mention the Georgetown Hoyas basketball season…) MrM regularly attends home games, although some days he wishes he hadn’t.
Can’t discuss much on the Wanneroo front, as I’d have no idea seeing as MrM put himself before others (selfish, MrM knows). But have heard on the rumour mill a massive inclusion is heading the Showgrounds way. Will put up scores regularly, and will drastically change the landscape of WAAFL B Grade Comp.
Watch this space!
Kingsway to play Stirling round one at Kingsway Reserve- what a start to the year for these rival clubs. Some great battles in the past, this one would be no different one would think.
Very large amount of players departing Kelmscott on the clearances page. Would be interested to hear where they are at doesn’t look to good for them by the departures.
I heard Stirling lost by around 120 points to Baldivis in the league on the weekend. Reserves and Colts not much better. Could be straight back down to C grade for them.
