Admitting responsibility , let’s get that right, you said you “stuffed up” so we WILL REWARD YOU. So basically no consequences for the mess the club is in.

I said a month ago that they needed to hold off the package till at least the end of next year and see how it is panning out. They do have a history of quick recovery. They haven’t, so if this hurts people I would suggest a couple of aspirin and a lie down.
The AFL have said, if the Eagles rise quickly then they have the ability to end it sooner.

Funnily enough the first club to get assistance under the current rules … Brisbane and it took several years to see those benefits but Brisbane have the luxury of access to NGA products which both WA teams do not.
actually the rule changed this year so full access to NGA again … that’s a bonus for the WA clubs. The northern NGA’s still get to put any player in their NGA whereas all other clubs still can only put in Indigenous or diverse culture.
