Anyone?

Hi West Perth.., is there anybody out there…?

Equally quiet on the Claremont site. Seems they only log in to crap on other clubs rather than support their own.

Yes, was only thinking the same last week.
One could hear the proverbial pin drop in both sites.

West Perth Crickets? To be honest how many times do these guys die, when change name to falcons, when move to wanneroo, when go broke?

Hard to type I guess…

Well there is not much to talk about when your rolling around the bottom of the ladder with only one win, we have lost players in the summer that were never replaced, now injuries is starting to kick in on top of that, it is turning into “One of those years” unfortunately.

Surprised about Claremont supporters tho…they are flying!

Mate…you should put out the rallying call to all our old favourites who haven’t been banned on here like Cardy, Vince, budhaguts just to name a few. It would be like old times again.

Some of the biggest and best in the ozfooty team of the century right there.

hahaha…maybe that should be a new thread on the general page…an OF team of the century. I’d have 42 as coach, DD as captain and STD the water boy.

Haha nice one BC. I’d probably tell the coach to get fucked and shove your big words up your arse.

Southerner coach for mine.

Inspiring no-nonsense addresses with plenty of expletives thrown in.

Swan42 in charge of player welfare and behaviour.

STT in charge of zoning.

Cardy in charge of after match bourbons for all.

BH at CHF as he has a big presence…Bazza at CHB as he’s no nonsense and doesn’t take a backward step and Mike as a mid/centre as he comes across as fair, intelligent and sees the game clearly. MO as an opportunistic forward pocket.

Coach??? hahaha thank you for those very decent words good friend !

one thing I could confirm is that a few of these modern lads would cop words they might have heard in their precious self-indulgent lifetimes , perhaps a mobile phone or four might end up taking a selfie of the internals of their dear sphincters if they ever dared pull one of those bastard things out in my rooms while I was preparing them

And one thing I could guarantee is that there would a FULL FORWARD , a FULL BACK and if you don’t kick that bloody pill long to position you’ll be doing push ups in my office until your arse bleeds purple son

And don’t back chat to that white maggot Buckey son - I’m sick of him running you back 25 metres and me replacing phones every game coz I’ve smashed them against the glass

hahaha geez nah I’m no coach mate

Funny thing is I was in the rooms on quite a few late afternoons after games and heard many of one Malcolm Brown’s varied & mostly colourful exchanges with players & staff
Was also back at the club after the 1981 Grand Final loss and I can also say I’ve never seen so many cartons of piss stacked up in one place (excuse my slang there!) and that was a sombre night I can also say - a few boys copped sprays I cannot repeat on here
Saw the great Laurie Flanders plying his trade many many times and he didn’t mince words often

Cheers mate

I’m always fascinated by the amount of traffic per club on this site and how it pans out.

Some are eternally busy regardless of position on the ladder, Perth being the most demonstrative of all the clubs in that regard.

Claremont from my earliest memory has always been a quiet thread, despite times of success, sadly Nedlands and Dalkieth broadband has not been suffcient pull to get them to turn of the Perry Como LP after a big day at the Bridge Club.

That’s why you must be coach mate…we need grassy in the goal square though…with that bulk and natural talent he could be a match winner…impossible to defend against a man of that size and with his nous

That’s gold LH.

I like Grassy…who cares if he’s a little different. He wouldn’t hurt a fly…but he’s a good man

Brownie would certainly get colourful and personal as well, he didnt hold back on his disgust and getting in the face of a player or three. I heard him go off a few times.

81 was dismal, but talking piss I’ve never seen so much carnage as after the 80 celebrations, Sunday morning there must of been a 1000 empty middie glasses and jugs scattered over the oval turf around the white marques.

BC and Senior Seagull would be natural key defenders in the Ozfooty team. They have had lots of experience defending their club against attacks from opposing supporters for many years.

That’s probably right Mike as there’d be no shortage of punters on here who’d reckon I was a half back flanker.
