Just what do you make of the Pies,one week Mrs Macs, made from pig snouts and camels tongues.The next week gourmet pies ,made with prime cuts of beef and a superb gravy.It is a case of which one they deal up every week.
A side that seems to have a load of promising young talent,that changes every week.Injuries have cost them a bit this year I think.Losing Swann has been a big loss for them.
But looking at the talent is like looking at a smorersboard.DeGoey,Grundy, Elliot(another big loss),Treloar,Langdon,Aish,Crisp,Moore.A good list to see into the future with.
Fasolo is aone of the senior players who needs to stand firm every week, yet has his ups and downs.McAffer has his moments.Grundy is a player of quality, but is still a bit away from making the top line of ruckmen.
Jesse White, mmmm not sure he has it,Hot and cold, just like the pies I spoke about.
MArsh looks like he will be a good payer, just needs games under his belt.
Marley Williams is a very good player and his spot is secure.
The enigma of the side Travis Cloke, must be feeling the pressure.He probably will look for a trade to some one else.
Not sure what to make of the Pies, but they always seem to be about the mark, even under Buckley.
Maybe another mid way finish next year!!!
I think Collingwood have underperformed badly this year given the talent they have and Buckley may be under pressure if they fail again in 2017. Cloke will probably be traded for a draft pick, win/win for both parties I think
