This squad of 30 will be cut back to 22 for the match in South Australia. The state selectors will also be keeping a close eye on performances at the Landmark Country Football Championships to see if any other players can force their way into the team. Western Australia will be looking to square the ledger this year after going down by 42 points to South Australia in last year’s fixture.

“All players selected were really enthusiastic about the game and proud to be representing their state,” he said.

“We owe South Australia a couple, so the boys are looking forward to getting over there and giving it a crack.”

The WACFL v SACFL game will be played as a curtain raiser to the Port Adelaide vs Adelaide SANFL match on July 26 at Alberton Oval in Adelaide. Bounce down is 11:15am local time.

Great effort for a small League like Ongerup to have 3 representatives, yet none from Great Southern or Lower South West

Best of luck boys for tomorrow’s game.

Hopefully it will be a better result for WA football than the Foxtel debacle!

Results going into last qtr… Disaster result..
SA 17.5 (107) WA Country 6.13 (49)

Apparently lot of attack football by the WA team but just couldnt kick straight.

Not the final score but all over. No stats etc at this stage
