Former WA and Scorchers player, AJ Tye has retired.
Another who has dual citizenship and is using it to play county cricket in England. The third in recent times.
AJ has quite an impressive CV. Having been in the National squad 2016/21.
Represented WA from 2013/14.
Played 119 matches in the BBL representing the Adelaide Strikers .Perth Scorchers and this season, the Melbourne Renegades.Taking 162 wickets. of those, 159 were for the Scorchers.Played in four Scorchers finals wins.
A basically medium pacer that had a large bag of tricks up his sleeve.
Well played AJ.

Joining Sam Whiteman at Yorkshire.
I thought his bowling went off quite a bit in season 2024/25

I agree. But he was a great servant to the Scorchers.
