Aiden Clarke Tribunal Hearing

Clarke to head to the tribunal tonight. Would be great to have some media presence there to inform the masses.

for what is basically a state govt entity
it is about as friendly as Chairman Il Sung of North Korea
there is next to no chance any media will be inside unless they are arrested and detained
that arsehole Roberts is yet another in a long line of easy money dickheads with little care for the game itself
one look at the outdated and shit poor WAFL website speaks volumes as to what they think of anyone outside their walls
best chance is to just go extremely hard at them because it is a certainty you will be subjected to a sniper attack after the appeal

Just saw some rather grainy footage of the incident. It looked like Aiden did hit Grey on the back of the neck but hard to tell whether it was a punch or a hard push. Fair dinkum though Grey went down like he had been shot and it looked like he also had hold of Aidens jumper.
Swans are going to argue the grading and I guess the best case scenario would be a reduction to low impact as Grey played out the game. Grey also may be quizzed about his reaction which did seem over the top. Probably a bit too much to expect a reprimand but if they could argue it down to a week that would be great. Very tough task but certainly worth a try at this stage of the season.

Clarke gone. 4 week suspension upheld. Team has to move on now with the players that are available

Footage didn’t look that bad. But hard to tell.

Absolutely ridiculous. But who’s surprised?

bit non-plussed as to why this one wasn’t reduced by at least 1 game - definitely wasn’t in the severe category
good old WAFC eh?

This is the frustration. Ive seen a lot worse stuff get reprimands or 1 week bans, then they go and pull this massive penalty out of the blue. How they defined it high impact when the player stayed on the ground is beyond me. The guy who knocked out Tom Edwards a couple of weeks ago got 2 weeks. Go figure

Yep hard to beat the double act of the Junta Tribunal Morons and the legendary up and coming thespian powder puff, Snitch Grey.
Mind you I think the Fighting Swans won the game…phew apparently correct weight…for a minute I thought the omnipotent Junta was going to fire in a protest on behalf of the Peel Dockers, as Swans brought the game into disrepute by actually beating them…on the scoreboard, …without of course, the Juntas’ permission !

Is Screemar back as a Swans fan?

Hopefully the players use this as a motivator on saturday and put it all out there in support of two guys who have carried the team over the tough years who for different reasons are going to miss their chance to play in a grand final. The other motivation is to send Tony Notte ,who has 2 or 3 games left in his career, out on a high.

well said Greg Harding…

he certainly didnt mince his words did he? Accused Peel and Grey of effectively throwing Clarke under a bus
