AFL Trade Talk

So Hogan and his manager have met with Fyfe, both have the same manager btw, the only way this deal will get done is pick 5 and next years first plus Balic and I would take that every day of the week, as for Taberner lol Hogan kicked more goals on his first year than Taberner has kicked in his whole career., Taberner hasn’t been signed up yet I suspect there waiting for an answer on Hogan.

Pick 5, Balic and Crozier…like fark do WBD fans want Crozier at the WBD…dime a dozen player which WBD have a plethora of already!..perhaps Taberner as well…talk about killing a few birds with one stone

I actually rate Crozier sounds like it’s a done deal he’ll be at the Bulldogs change of scenery might bring the best out in him.

Hogan has told Melbourne he’s staying so we can put a line through that one.

First time I ever seen you engage in AFL discussion Freezin. WB success last year wet your appetite? Good to see you finally come out of the closet mate.

Freez, I think Crozier will be given more freedom at the Doggies than he has had at Fremantle. He has played a more defensive role at Fremantle. At the Dog he will be given his head I think. He will be allowed to go for his marks and allowed some more freedom in the way he plays.
He has a big tank and can run all day, this is the type of player that won them their flag. But I guess time will tell who is right.

Freo Pick 40+82 for Crozier.Thought he was a better player than that…Adelaide done well out of the Lever trade..Lever and daft no 35 and Adelaide two first round picks next 2 years.

Good move for Crozier I think, he will benefit for getting a different role at the Dogs. Frees the way for the Dockers to do the deals for Balic, Matera and Wilson

Mike have you watched a replay of the Peel v Subi GF yet.Was a pretty good game.Just on Crozier he was pick no 20 for Freo in 2011

Seems GWS have agreed to what ever Fremantle offered first plus the pick 40 for Crozier.

I haven’t seen anything regarding that result as yet.

JB same here.I was only going on what was posted on another site.
Hopefully he/she is right.

Giants star Nathan Wilson will be traded to Fremantle as early as Friday afternoon, according to reports.
The 24-year-old, who joined the Giants as a 17-year-old special access selection, has reportedly already purchased a house in Perth and his move is expected to be announced soon.
AFL Trade Radio reports the Dockers have been forced to beef-up their offer of a future second round draft pick for Wilson.
The No. 40 pick the Dockers will receive in exchange for letting Hayden Crozier move to the Western Bulldogs is reportedly the key to satisfying the Giants.
It was reported earlier in the trade period that the Giants had knocked back the Dockers’ first offer of their second round pick in 2018.
Fox Sports News’ senior AFL reporter Jake Niall says the Giants have demanded a pick somewhere between No. 15 and No. 20 in this year’s draft before they will let Wilson walk.
It means the Dockers may have to do some wheeling and dealing to trade picks with a third party to meet the Giants’ demands.

Watts (pardon the pun) with the sudden attraction to PA? Stephen Motlop, now Jack Watts nominated Port as their preferred destination. Think there has been another I can’t think of right now.

Seems to be taking Fremantle a long time to get deals done for Matera and Wilson.

It seems that Lachie Weller wants a move from Fremantle to Gold Coast.
If this is true, it is a bit of a hammer blow for Fremantle. Maybe he see his role as a running HB going to Wilson and now other place for him.

That’s a bit of a shock. Is he still contracted? I wouldn’t think the recruitment of Wilson would place his spot in jeopardy if anything might free him up to run in the midfield or spend more time forward. The ones likely to be squeezed out are Sutcliffe, Sheridan and Spurr. But we should be able to command a good second round pick for him at the least. From memory he was our first round pick a few years ago.

Has one year to run on his contract.
I hope I have this right, but he will go home to GC, we get Wilson for the second round we will get from GC for Weller.

another homesick footballer ?

Another who wants to go North is Andrew Swallow.

Apparently he was offered a four year deal which he rejected and asked to be traded to the Suns.
