With the fine weather this weekend we should see some cracking games to start A grade.
*TA’s v North Beach - Thinking Beach will win this one at the shoe box.
*Collegians v Scarborough - Scarborough should win this one, but by the way Collegians finished last year I would not be surprised if you see an upset if they have picked up a couple of recruits.
*Kingsway v North Fremantle - North have recruited well again, so should get up here.
*Fremantle CBC v Kingsley - After the grand final last year CBC will be to hungry and will get up here.
*Uni v Wesley Curtin - Uni should be to strong at home and start the season with a win. Still the team to beat in 2020.
Very quiet so far on the A Grade front so ill chuck my 2 cents worth in.
Trinity Aquinas vs North Beach
Im sure both sides would have thought that their season was disappointing last year with Trinity missing finals and North Beach failing to win a final anyone’s game this ill tip the Beach by 17 points but no confidence.
Collegians vs Scarborough
For my thinking probably the most interesting match up this weekend to see what Collegians can do after finishing 5th but getting through to the big dance in B Grade. Scarborough on the other hand how many players have returned from the straight sets exit in the finals. Scarborough to be the sliders this season but will be too good for Collegians.
Kingsway vs North Fremantle
Another interesting game with both clubs seemingly having better sides than last year. North Fremantle are a big chance for the flag i believe and should get up by 4 goals over a Kingsway side that should be targeting finals.
University vs Wesley Curtin
The A Grade Premiers vs the B Grade Premiers and my GOTR prediction. Both sides littered with talent Uni being a little younger compared to the handful of ex South Freo players running around for Wesley. Ill back Uni at home but these sides will be in the top 3 come finals i believe.
CBC vs Kingsley
CBC coming off the disappointment of the GF loss against Kingsley in year 2 of A Grade footy. Honestly believe Kingsley will be fighting with Collegians for the one relegation spot but hopefully they can be competitive as they were at times last season. Unfortunately this will cop a CBC side wanting to prove a point that they are one of the teams to beat. Cbc by 7 goals
Enjoy the weather lads and let’s get some A Grade chat going on
Any write ups or reports from matches. CBC very comfortable over Kingsley, North Freo just over a gallant and improved Kingsway, North Beach easily over Trinity Aquinas and i heard Wesley Curtin got over Uni by under a kick. Can anyone confirm this or the Collegians vs Scarborough result
Curtin got over Uni in A, AR and PS Colts but no mention of margins on Curtin’s FB page. Scarbs comfortably over Collegians - 15.10 to 8.3
TAs lead by a kick or two at each break kicking a remarkable 7.1 at 3Q break. The Beach ran over the top in the last kicking 7.4 to win 13.10 to 7.2
