Great to knock off one of last years grand finalists but it’s come at a huge cost. Two key position players out for a considerable amount of time. Cox needing surgery to fix a hammy and Oscar McDonald looks like might have done an ACL.
Action Jackson looking super and Serong unstoppable. Fyfe back in the engine room helps Serong and Brayshaw immensely. Hopefully he can stay fit.
It was a real gutsy win by the Dockers given their poor start and the injuries they incurred during the game.
They now need to follow up by beating North Melbourne which is a game they would be expected to win. If they don’t they will be back to square 1.
Looked a bit dire halfway through the 2nd quarter but they played well after that. Jackson played his best game for the club and you sense he is going to be a 10 year player for Fremantle.
Looked like the WCE halfway through the second qtr mike. Interestingly Jackson lost the HO 30 to 21 and had 24 posessions to his opponent Xerri 19 but I guess it’s the two goals was the difference.

We look shaky down back, very fumbly.

The long term loss of Brennan Cox is a big one because he is so versatile. It will take a while for them to bed down a new structure without him
