Good luck to Haiden Southy. He’s been a great player in the WAFL, one that us oppo supporters love to hate but wish he was on our team. I wish him the best of health and hope he plays for another few years.

Apparently the Southerners are sitting on one dollar 25c for the win. Whilst the visitors are said to be 3 $ 35c. SportFM doing another top job of covering.
Slacked off a bit in the last quarter but had the thing mostly in the bag to be honest - I wouldn’t be able to say it was comprehensive but the 4 points are in the clubrooms in a top of the table clash is what I can say fair and square.
Superb game by Ruscoe with a career best 7 goals and Free made Jones work the hardest he’s had to for a long time , Parker excellent along with Hughes and Florenca.
First time in many years that we are on top in all grades at the half way point of the season

Souths had the match in the bag at three quarter time with a 6 or 7 goal lead. Got pegged back and won by the ten points. It would be a concern for South Fremantle having only 3 scoring shots in the final term to the visitors 8 or 9 or thereabouts. However Souths are currently a game clear on top and well deserved.
