Back at home for the traditional NAIDOC game against Claremont
Schloithey will play I’m told and so will Matty Parker
this one will be a high pressure tough game
count on it
Quite possibly a preview of the Grand Final, should be a ripper game.
Should be a ripper game looking forward to it.
Lets hope they do a great tribute to Eillen Bond!
Great to se that Haiden Schloithe is back and playing.
Wish him all the best.
Gee what a weird game.
Firstly utterly disappointed the club did not do a special announcement about the passing of our patron and acknowledge that with a minute silence. Black arm bands just not enough. Instead we got a pile of dribble about Dreamtime dogs and tigers.
The game , opened with a stunning display of skill, the experienced 3 Qrts of boredom with one of poorest displays of low scoring rubbish for a 1 v 2 clash it was bloody ordinary quality.
Ended in a quick flurry late that secured the win with what looked like a solid margin , don’t think it really reflected the game, in saying that inaccurate rubbish could of cost us.
Two games clear… sitting pretty at the moment plus east lost…![]()
yeah probably put big enough holes in Claremont in the first quarter
then it got turned into a scrap for 60 minutes or so
and finished with a wet sail to grab the points
there were some excellent performers like Parker , Jones , Florenca , Ward , Winder , Hughes , Stroms , and Free made the Claremont guys work
Bourne played probably his best game for us I will say
Ferreira & O’Hehir ??? yeah well free ride passengers as usual
great to see number 1 back it was really good to see
Schloithe ok - I noticed only 3 or4 possessions?
seemed ok got amongst it and was good to see him back.
Scooter was a constant focus for Claremont and he drew in players that then gave chances for others
smart footballer
there’s two others that just didn’t have any semblance of that
That confirms that it’s Souths Flag to lose, probably the most dominant season by any team since Subi 2018.
Hang on mate, SFFC and GF are not a good mix, history tells us that!
