Great listing there LH, will be good reading as I get to it. Just hope those boys in blue return to our fold if and when they get delisted. Not a lot of point them hanging around an Eagles reserves side I would think.
cheers for that LH…the EFFC have been very ‘slack’ over the pre season with any news what so ever…disappointing considering folk pay their membership and get little info on comings and goings, pre season training etc…Harding does a great job on the SDFC site keeping the fans up to date…don’t expect anything every week but once a fortnight, even once a month over this period would be appreciated.
I noticed on the EFFC facebook one poor fella has asked 3 times who besides Peake has been recruited…the club hasn’t even bothered to respond.
Out of that list mate I reckon numbers 5, 13, 24, 27, 28, 30, 38, 39, 40 , 48 and 55 won’t be at EFFC in 2013…whilst Fasolo(16) and Yeo(57) are queries…thought Yeo was at Subi mate.
You can add Mack Byron-Pendergast ( 205cm) to EFFC list for 2013, also Richard Wallis ( 195cm), Cam Fannon, Sam Peletier, John Lee, Alex Kirk, Dion Anthony, Matt Baseden and Joel Arasi to EFFC 2013 list probably also.
Personally I’m looking forward to Matty Jupp stepping up in 2013…though I don’t want to give him my Tyler Chalwell curse…27/BH will have a field day picking my bones if Jupp doesn’t score a league game in 2013!!!
Ok, thanks for the info. I’ll add all those lads in now.
I also forgot Josh simpson, so I’ll add him in too.
Yeah Jupp is a good young player. should play league in 2013 and do well.
I think the clubs might be keeping players on their official list for now even though they aren’t at training, just in case another WAFL club wants them. If they’re still listed the other WAFL club forks out but might be wrong about that.
It could be that clubs just can’t be bothered updating their pages.
Would I do that freeze???
I have also seen Juppy play & he does have ability I just hope Chalwell’s confidence hasnt evaporated into thin air now you have jumped off his bandwagon & onto Juppy for 2013!!
Plenty of depth there Will be the team to beat. My money is on them to turn it around this year.
It is a warning about how EP and Peel will dominate 2014 on. In fairness to EFFC they bred a lot of AFL players and deserve the rewards. The same cant be said for Peel and EP who walked into a arrangement to elevate them due to no MERIT on their part
The maggots will just stand back and watch them walk through the door in 2014.
EF could be up to it in the Foxtel as well. A %100,000 would be handy
The prize money for the 2013 Foxtel Cup is an amazing $100,000. WAFL to be represented by Claremont Football Club and East Fremantle Football Club in a revamped format. All qualifying games to be played on Tuesday nights and broadcast live on foxsports.com.au
my thoughts exactly 27, got to give the fella a chance though…seems like a good height, though I am wondering EF need to strengthen their back line  …with the likes of Stephen, Dodd, Schofield, Brown etc up back EF defence were more than reliable last year…Rock mentioned a 6 10 SA fella, but no word of him signing though
geez Rock, the boys at SD and SF won’t be to pleased with that news mate…but as you say, keep it under my hat for the time being…but geez that is big news mate
so Saville is EF 2nd new signing for the season…not too sure if that’s a sign of EF mangament thinking EF are travelling more than ok squad wise for 2013 or not…Saville is realistically a 23 yr old VFL reserves player…half back flanker as well…not what the club really needs to break their current drought…
…really do think EF are probably sitting back on the recruiting front, largely due to EF large number of AFL listed players compared to other WAFL clubs, many of these fringe AFL guys like Dalziell, Menagola, Sutcliffe, Dick, Duffy, Brown, Simpson, Howson, Brennan and even Griffen will be playing more WAFL than AFL this year…that’s nearly half the side!!
I guess it’s pretty hard to attract new players with so many AFL boys in the mix for selection…gonna be quite interesting for 2014 when these boys move on to their affiliated WAFL clubs…can see EF being more of an attractive option for a WAFL game in 2014 than 2013…fustrating to see or hear of little news regarding EF recruiting…but again not overly surprising!
Sokol looked good kicking goals from the Marmion St end the other night at training Doggie…also Bailey M looked quick and talented too, better than Kaiden!!..not too sure why SF wanted to offload them but beggars can’t be choosers I guess!
oooops sorry Rock, I was meant to keep that bit of goss under me hat wasn’t I mate?
