the ABC televised the footy every week and people in the country got to see it.
can ch7 do that ? - no on both counts..
did ch2 make teams play at 11.15 on a sunday to suit their schedule - no
C7 tried to get C9 food show stopped. That didn’t work. Today beats Sunrise. Maybe Channel 7 need to get their head out of their arse and start playing with the other children.
Channel 7 definitely has excellent weather presenting bazza

all channels have upped the ante in the weather stakes. its almost become a battle of the boxes so to speak. Its just fantastic really, and its quite strange setting my watch alarm at 6.20pm every night these days.
Unless you venture to the country and watch GWN, they still have that fellow that looks like a bloated arsehole.
I suppose the question at the bottom of this is really about the business of local football and how it is managed as a business and not the old style footy club.
It often seems to me that the business acumen in our football entities and the commission is often too light weight for what what is required.
If the WAFC had the level required then the WP signing of channel 9 would have been managed and the on going issues would not have happened.
The days of it being a social event has largely stopped but the management of it has not caught up! Oh I am not suggesting that this part is ok just a statement of my view of the road ahead!
WAFL football needs to seen as entertainment and as such needs the right level of management and promotion.

I thought it was just me that noticed the hot weather birds, yep ch 7 does well, but the ch 9 bird is a bloody nice nad ch 2 have a real cutie as well. the blondes reign supreme
the bloke on GWN has been doing it for about 30 years, he is a bit of a legend, I watched him for years when i lived in the bush.
The bottom line is who really takes notice of a logo on a jumper to decide what channel they watch. I just watch the programmes on the channel it is on and dont care about their advertising telling you how good they are. The Weather someone said.. fark I find the weather forecast is the same on all channels for Perth
7 are obviously paranoid Schizo about the issue.
When I am at the footy I dont choose a product because of whats on a footy jumper. Shit I dont even know really what logo’s are on WAFL Club jumpers and it doesnt influence my decision on what to buy or use..
The whole thing is pretty petty by Bully 7 and WAFC. CHN 7 are actually doing themselves more damage by their actions by creating this conflict. Obviously brain dead execs at that channel. :woohoo:
It was said the WAFL could lose the broadcast next year!!! Funny the WAFC said the broadcast by Channel 7 was contracted for 3 years and could not be broken.. unquote
Now if Chn 7 broke the contract in my book that would mean they would HAVE TO PAY BACK 2 YEARS OF THE BALANCE OF THE CONTRACT… Great GO FOR IT… Maybe we could then get another broadcaster. Of course this wont happen as CHN7 Would be shitting in their own nest …
im an angela stun man myself. she speaks well, not to many errors and I like the way she enunciates. now if we want to be sexist id like to pork debra barone.
that wasnt what you asked and anyway the ABC must of been shithouse even at that standard becuase ratings show only half the amount of people watched them as opposed to ch 7 WAFL.
Bit hard to see where any issue lies around visible sponsorship being displayed on jumpers
The biggest conflict of issue is at the West Coast Academy side - they get to wear Ch7/West logos and the rest of us pay for rights to broadcast
As some people have said it seems there are vehicle manufacturers other than Toyota sponsoring that rubbish over there
