Yes DG. My daughter said it’s posted on the Subi social media page so I guess it’s confirmed. Good news indeed given he played state footy for WA the year he retired.
Great news BC. It was a strange move retiring when he was still playing at a level for state team selection, but I guess we can work out why

Borchet & Lockyer going around again?
Heard Bellouard is looking at country or Ammos.
I think his relationship with Wardman was not great so along with his then problematic ankle he pulled the pin but did play with Mundijong centrals I think. Schoey got back in touch with him soon after he was appointed and the clearance is now done and dusted, Great pick up to add to the forwards and just 1 point.

Interesting. Would like to be proven wrong, but seems wishful thinking that Soks can get back to what he was.
Has he only lost one season?
At 30, I think Soks still has an important role to play up front with Borchet, Mayo and the smalls. I’d also like to know what’s happening with Luker Kentfield as he must be due back soon.
I see Kentfield has resigned with Melbourne for another year until the end of 2026. Given he’s only 20, there’s still hope he’ll be back in the maroon and gold in the next couple of years.

Jaxon McGowan is back! It’s getting exciting to see these lads returning.
I think there was a subtle inference by DG earlier in this thread on why these guys left in the first place and now it appears he could be on the money.
Jaxon is a very good player and should slot back into the 22 quickly. Great to see these guys back at the club now that Schoeys back in town. They can look forward to a really tough pre-season to get the group back to the fitness strength and intensity levels that Schoey demands. The team has slipped back in those areas compared to many of the other teams.
Now I want to see the list of ‘outs’.
I have a wishlist.

Agree Frothy although I’m liking the “ins” for Subi so far. Don’t know enough about the two Vics, but the others will have an impact. We still need a decent ruckman and maybe one or two KPPs to be competitive with the top sides.
