You are embarrassing yourself once again RL, you have nothing, dicked by the 2nd best team in the comp on current form but sitting 6th which is very lucky for you. What a flog bringing up the 2002 WCER Premiership, do you think we give a shit after we have gone on to dick you in 2013 and won flags in 2003, 2022

I know literacy isn’t your strong point Whinnen or is it Winnen who you originally called yourself, but even an illiterate moron like you ought to know alignments ended in 2001,and 31500 fans were thereDumbo, not exactly a public backlash, and if you ask the Joondalup city council, the only embarrassment in the local district sporting community is your club my delusional friend.

Boys boys!Banter is fine but keep it civil! What you should be doing is celebrating a bloody good game of football.WP played a scintillating game to get 52 points ahead and then EP showed what they can do when they nearly hit the front after 8 consecutive goals. The last quarter was a tough grind by both sides with no quarter asked or given- just like the Perth derbies of old.WAFL football was the winner from that game.We bow out with our heads held high and EP live to fight another day.Last thing- a bit of advice RL.You need a bigger grinder for that big arse axe of yours - it’s not doing the job!

I’m sorry Mr Ness, you’ve lost me there,I’m not familiar with the “arse axe”but if your the Mohawk. man or part of-the rest of the Court Hotel crew that sit in your grandstand, your probably well versed in it,so enjoy your summer break.

HaHa good one RL.I lost my ability to have a Mohawk a long time ago!And yes I will have a good summer break - need to plan that premiership assault for 2024.

The “alignment” may have finished but the residue of all the $$$ saved allowed you to pay overs for the likes of Wilson, Symons, Turnball and a host of other delisted Eagles and ex WAFL players. So in actual fact your were riding off the alignment a few years after.

Whinnen, always “interesting” when a Ferals supporter accuses another club of losing it’s soul or losing it’s relevance …

SS,
My thoughts exactly. Royallucky sounds a shed load like DD, interesting how how knows my handle was originally spelt differently!!!

Mel,I know you’ve been stewing on this for a couple days, and feel you are making some valid points, but unsurprisingly you’re not aware of the nuances between the 2 alignments, which probably applies to the imbecile that’s given you a like. The first alignment we inherited from Claremont who had a FULL alignment in 1999 but promptly ditched it after failing to make the finals. The 2000 to 2001 model was an interstate alignment where 5 to 6 interstate players like, Munro,Antonowicz,Haynes etc suited up on average and by the end of the arrangement, the club obviously saved money but we’re still in the red, where as the recent FULL alignment which ran for 5 years, we had around a dozen to 14 Weagles playing on a weekly basis as well the their extra coaching staff, and finished with hundreds of thousands in the bank.Wilson was recruited before the official announcement of the alignment, and played in the 2000 grand final and was picked as a mature aged recruit,Symonns apart from coming from an Avid Royals family was enticed by a lucrative Automative position, like many before and after him,Turnbull had already played a 100 Royals games before he retired from the AFL and also played in the 96 GF,and with his brother also being a runner for the club,Ryno was never going anywhere else after he retired from the Eagles, and is still seen at games today, but it’s been only Recently that the club has been able to attain Subi like liquidity.

Please SS,your club is sitting on its big fat wallet courtesy of an unprecedented revenue stream from yourSubi oval deal, the likes of which no other WAFL club has seen in the 140 year history of the WAFL,and your club has made hay while the sun shines,so well done. But for me growing up in the halcyon days of the WAFL,your club was a basket case and we’re perennially mocked by the late great John K Watts, with his “poor old Subi line, and the only teams I took seriously in the 70’s were the Demons, Garlics,Old Easts, and Bulldogs and maybe the Tigers and Swans at the back end of that era,so congratulations on your newfound soul and relevance in the once great competition, which is a shadow of its former self.

This from a bloke who’s club was bankrolled twice by the Eagles and then by a multi millionaire car salesman who when it got too hard, chucked you lot to the Eagles dogs for a second time, what a proud recent history your club has. New found soul? I’ll take that against the twice sold off tattered remnant of a soul your club has.

RL…If you look at Rodriguez Shield results, your club sits 6th in the competition which apparently is a shadow of its former self according to you…so how does that make you feel that your club is even more on the nose than Peel who sit 5th?

I think I struck a nerve with a Poor Old Subi supporter,I could debate the merits of zones with you,but I never have or ever will take your mob seriously, haven’t your ever noticed that I’ve never jump on the bandwagon when other club supporters scorn you for your wealth???

I’ve really struck a nerve here.

No nerve struck here RL old son. Subi supporters are thicker skinned than that after all, we copped it during the 60s, 70s and early 80s when we were crap and copped it again during most of this century when we were unbeatable and made some coin from our own oval. It’s just that occasionally, we all get a bit tired of the constant drivel you carry on with but hey, if stirring the pot stimulates you intellectually, go for it as there’s no accounting for some.

It’s all very subjective what constitutes dribble,I’m sure that theRoyals wallowing in 6th place on the Rodriguez shield table is very relevant to you,but it’s a bit rich that you blokes are questioning what other clubs are doing to remain solvent, when your mob were the first club that I can remember, rattling the tins to survive,so please spare me with the soul and relevance diatribe.
